Members Meeting the Characters

All new members at this time are welcome to join, just let me know which characters you want to play, post your dinosona (basically a persona of yourself as a dinosaur, or in this case, an LBT character), plan your own way to come into the rp, and volia, you're in the game!

@LBTfan13: Personally, I would rather stick with what I was originally going to do, I find it unfitting that Mr. Three Horn would still be a stubborn old man at this point, I mean, he's still his character, he's just...more accepting now.

@Mrykin: It's all good, I'm just glad you were able to post now. Feel free to do what you want to do, though I find amnesia is a bit cliche myself.

Alright, that could work. And if I remember correctly, YOU'RE playing Chomper right? Or was Chronicler?

As far as a summary, well...I'll give it my best shot, but here it goes:

A few land before time fans on a peculiar forum go millions of years in the past, or in millions of years in the LBT universe and meet the cast of LBT characters. They have their own adventures and deal with all sorts of calamities, such as predators, natural disasters, dealing with the fact they are in another universe, and dealing with the mistrust of the other dinosaurs around them.

One of them, a flyer (me) comes into this world meets with Red Claw, the main predator of where the fandom has left off. In order to safe herself as well as some other dinosaurs she has met, such as Pterano, she blinds Red Claw, and while Red Claw no longer can see, he has this burning hatred for her and will not stop to anything to fulfill his taste for revenge.

When the characters finally meet in the Great Valley, some mistrust is being spread among the dinosaurs regarding this and wondering who these members are. Then something happens where Red Claw and his duo comes in to find Amy, and they find a way in the valley. (My character left a part of the wall open, since I fell from it, being weakened from fighting with Red Claw) Mr. Three Horn tries to kick me out, but others try to stop him and then we fix the wall.

However, Red Claw does not give up at all...so he organizes a plan to get me somehow. This included bait, an incentive (for Screech, since he has some grudge towards him for irrtaiting and annoying him), and calling many other fastbiters to take down everyone in the valley so Red Claw could take me hostage.

Pangaea was bait for an organized plan to get my character outside the valley, into the jaws of Red Claw.

Other members come out to find Pangaea. Chronicler tries to make plans in order to get Pangaea and accommodate with the fastbiters. Out of anger and frustration, he blurts out that human beings are more superior species and this makes Red Claw angry. Poor naive Chomper translates this and the war starts.

Pangaea ends up being saved and the Great Valley dinosaurs win the battle, but now, lives on both sides were lost and this leaves Red Claw unsatisfied and just thirsty for more.

Now the dinosaurs are going back and LBT13fan has turned into a fastbiter and some dinosaurs are mistrusting him due to the recent attack of the fast biters.

That sounds good to me Amy. Yeah it would make sense for him to be a bit more accepting nowadays.

And I might play the Tinysaurus' seeing as they aren't being used by anyone else. And I might only play Lizzie and Skitter, and maybe Rocky and Dusty. Thanks for the summary Rat_lady7. It was very good, and let me know what's going on.

We've been saying for a while now that all of our characters are going to go to sleep soon, so that time in the RP can skip ahead to the next morning (and to avoid giving our characters an unrealistic sleep schedule in which they're wide awake and energetic 24 hours a day

). The idea is that new players can join then, so that they won't need to have their characters go to sleep shortly after they enter. However, it's been taking a lot longer than planned to reach this point of universal bedtime, and while we're very close now, Amy has been considering just letting new players start posting whenever, so that we don't have to keep them waiting any longer.

The first thing I'm going to do once I'm finished typing this is to write a RP post in which my characters go to sleep, in the hopes of furthering the original plan (which I personally still think we should go with, if possible). But Amy's the one in charge, so I think it's really your choice.

Thanks FBS, and you too can post anytime really, you don't have to wait for us. Pangaea pretty much hit the nail on the head. I just say that considering how long it seems to be taking us, which is admitedly my fault, not really being productive in this rp, to post us going to sleep.

Honestly, it's probably just as much my fault, if not more. I was a dismally infrequent poster when you left me in charge of the RP. If I were more spontaneous, and better at moving things along, we probably would have finished the battle scene weeks earlier.

I'm sorry for that.

By the way, I agree with FBS; that was a really good summary you wrote!

P.S. I am in the process of writing a post right now. It's just taking along time, as is typical of me.

(I'm considering splitting it in half and making two separate posts.)

P.S.S. Really the main argument I have to wait for morning (and I really would like to get to that point as soon as possible) is that it makes more sense in the context of the story for the characters to go to sleep. Everyone ought to be pretty worn out from the night's events, and it's past the gang's bedtime. There's a lot more interacting to be done in the daytime.

Just bumping this topic to ask our members who is done and ready for the rp to be morning. For those that aren't ready, please post your entry as soon as you can to get this part done.

P.S Sam (ff-raptor ace) and I have been pming and he has been considering going back to this rp, he has a plan to be captured as well in the future.

So on this note, I'll wait for others to be done posting and write here if you are done.

I mean I'm ready to move on. If others wanted to do anything else with my characters I can certainly post again, but I've done everything as far as closure to the day for my characters. We can assume that Rob eventually made it back to the nest with Littlefoot and Zaine.

I'm ready. As I said in my last RP post, all of my characters are asleep now.

By the way, if and when f-22 returns to the RP, does he want to have Thud back? (I'm happy to continue playing him if he'd prefer.)

Judging by GVG's most recent post, all his characters are still awake. I think we should send him a PM to let him know that most everyone is back in the valley and going to sleep. As for Rocky, I don't know if he's still playing. :unsure:
