The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

When all else fails, Ask DarkWolf!

Heheh, this looked like fun :smile

Ask away! I have a good chunk of random knowledge, and I might end up being a mildly interesting person, in and of myself :p

Pretty goooood, thanks. It was filled with work! But it was also quite rewarding. I learned a lot, and made almost too many career choices :lol

Oooh, that's tough! Shorty's not really a very vocal dino, at least not in the 10th movie. It's not much of a line, but I'd have to say my favorite is directly after Cera tells him that, 'the trick is, not minding.' He is hit in the head by a rock, gets a very spaced out look on his face, and says 'Woooooaaah.'
I just think it's a neat look at a different aspect of his character.

You're on this page: http://lbtrpg.webs.com/aboutus.htm

Mind telling about yourself so I can fill it in there? ;)

Oh, sure!

My full name is... removed. In case people don't feel comfortable with it :p
I'm an amateur 2-D animator who is currently enlisted in the United States Army. Unfortunately I'm a slightly scattered person, but I hope to be more useful to the LBT game project in the future!
My eventual goal is to earn bachelor's degrees in Biology and Animal Behavioural Studies and get a job as a marine mammal trainer.

If you could be friends with any LBT character (besides Shorty) who would it be?

Hmm, that's tough...
Guido, Cera and Littlefoot all come to mind. If I had to pick just one, though, I'd say Littlefoot. He seems very open minded and adventurous :smile

If I recall, you mentioned that you had written an LBT fanfic. I don't suppose you could show it to me? I'd be happy to give you feedback on it. :yes (If you'd rather not, that's perfectly fine. :))

Thank you, Pangaea, I'd be thrilled to receive your feedback! I'm not exactly practiced when it comes to creative writing :smile I think I'll work on it a bit more first, but how would you like me to send it to you?

Either PM or e-mail would work, whichever's more convenient for you. If you'd prefer e-mail, PM me and I'll give you my e-mail address. Thanks. :)

Ah, that's really tough... I read so much, I don't think I could possibly pick a favorite! Books that I have read recently and like, though, include The Talisman, The Firebringer Trilogy, Freakonomics and Unknown Quantity.

I wish I read as much as I did when I was a kid, now what I mostly read is internet stuff, which is fine, but I need to read some good solid literature. >_> And not just for school, but for leisure time. :(

Anyway, enough with my stuff....when you posted that I was just thinking out loud.

Question....do you have a favorite species of dinosaur? If so what kind?

Yeah, I know what you mean! It can be hard to find the time to sit down and read. There's nothing quite like it, though :)

Ah, again, there are way too many (all with truly awesome adaptations) for me to be able to confidently pick a favorite. Though the Hagryphus, as obscure as it is, does hold a special place in my heart :p

Any particular reason you're so fond of Hagryphus? :p
