i'm playing monster hunter sooo much i beated the game but it's still fun!

i can't record a battle of me because i don't know how, the only way i know is with a camera but the quality will get really bad so here's my friend who does know how to do that. so i'll show a video of him (we have the same tactics)

I tried hard to push that games night but no one was interested. I'm up for doing it again but I'm gonna want a more solid commitment from people rather than hanging on 'til stupid o'clock waiting for people and they can't be bothered. If I can get people's loyalty to the cause then I'm up for trying again.

I'd love to shoot more videos of GOF members going head to head. Hopefully, we can get more Brawl vids up so watch this space.

Note to all: I appreciate the posting of videos here but it would be a little closer to the cause if posters put up videos of YOUR OWN performances rather than video game trailers. Save those for individual game discussions.

Well, the matches i usually have are not as dramatic as you might think. All the one-on-ones i have usually consist of: 3 lives, no items, and on final destination (though the stage can vary). I usually do this because there is no beneficial or harmful interference (items, stage hazards like lava etc.) so you can best determine the more skilled fighter. BUT, i do have some videos of some crazy stuff. I won't spoil it though, it will have to wait for when i upload it. I'll be gone for the weekend, so i'll probably upload them on monday, if i can remember.

ok, so i got one brawl video up.

Olimar vs Ike - I'm playing as Olimar against my friend, we're playing online so there was a bit of lag, so i think thats why my friend accidentally killed himself . I'll upload a more crazy one next, one thats not one-on-one and no items.

well, the first one WAS a suicide, but thx. I'm quite surprised myself on how well i did, seeing as i don't play as olimar that much. I'm planning on getting good as him though, kinda difficult though when your trying to get good as 5 or 6 characters, and have to play as them all to stay good with them.

Oh man im getting behind in vidoes (i still have some smash bros videos i was planning on uploading, i guess i'll get to those later). I do have a video up of me beating Dr. Wily in megaman 9 and i managed to get him down to half health on his 3rd form before using any E-tanks.

Also, i've been meaning to show my drum skills at rock band for a long time and seeing as i got rock band 2 for christmas, i guess now is a pretty good time. I finally was able to pass Panic Attack on expert today. Unfortunately though, i didn't record it (didn't think i was gonna pass in the first place). I do have this pic though for now, of my score and note % after i beat it (no fail was NOT on).

So heres a video of me beating sigma in megaman x3. I didn't put in any codes at all and it was played on my wii (megaman x collection). For not playing the game for so long, i did amazingly well. Here it is:

I really can't play drums: partly I so rarely try, partly I don't seem to have the natural coordination.  I'll stick to the guitar in Rock Band, at least I can throw it on expert and pass basically whatever.

The main reason why i got into drums so much was that, as soon as i could start handling medium, i would always be the one playing drums when my friends came and played because they couldn't play it. So i slowly got better at it, and it becomes more waay more fun when you get to expert.

lol i could barely even do easy when i first started playing drums on RB1. If you just keep playing it, eventually it just starts coming natural to you. I know that i couldn't hit the bass drum on the off beats for a really long time, then all of a sudden i could just do it.

Ya, im ok at guitar as well, can't pass every song on expert (green grass and high tides (ungh), visions, to name a couple) I pretty much get murdered on the guitar solos on the harder songs and pretty much rely on overdrive/ SP to get me through.

First off, thanks. took a lot of practice, i played it a couple of times on practice mode just for fun, but then i really tried practicing on the really hard parts (like the intro). I practiced the song for about 2 hours straight before i finally attempted to pass it. I dunno if you've checked what i've said on the rock band 2 topic Tim, but i broke my foot pedal shortly after this recording, and i think this song is to blame  . It was worth it though.

That scroll bar system didn't make the blindest bit of sense!   I just saw a flush of colours and the sound of a cat tap dancing! Still, excellent effort. That looked like more of a chore to accomplish than a game to play!
