I figured I'd share this. Here's me playing the "Truth and Reconciliation" halo level on Legendary, when you first arrive on the ship.

I just made this and put it up on Google. It's of me playing Super Metroid. Yeah, I know the camera can barely pick up the TV screen because of how bright it is.

Too bad the camera picked up the screen so darn bright lol but at least you did talk alot LOL

One question though: Why did you play it in the dark? If the lights were on the camera probably wouldn't have picked up the screen so badly. It just seems like more of a hassle to record it in the dark, can't see why you wanted it that way

But cool vid none-the-less! Can't wait for the next ones!

Because I thought it would be fun to use the night vision.

Aahh I see! Point taken.

Heh, I actually made one of these with a regular vhs camcorder (I was going to transfer the tape onto a dvd, and then take the video file off the dvd) and the same thing happened with the tv. You couldn't read any of the text, it was just a white blur. I never actually got it onto my computer since there were alot of problems with it, mainly the fact that the tv was overpowering my voice, so you couldn't hear anything I was sayin

Maybe next time I'll try putting the camcorder as close to me as possible, and turn the volume on the tv down alot

^ Yep, for most people that makes sense...those that want to get things such as their wedding to dvd...just use the highest settings possible to avoid compression artifacts.

That was awesome! I've never really played the first couple of Metroid games. I didn't really get into Metriod until Metroid Prime came out for GC. Then my brother got Metroid Fusion for Gameboy Advance/SP and that rocked too. I heard Metroid games have a certain status for being kinda hard. But hey, all adds to the challenge!

Nicely demonstrated Cyberlizard. I'm looking forward to seing you play Sonic! If you've got a copy of Sonic 2, lemme know how fast you can complete the Emerald Hill Zone Act 1. My record is 22 seconds

and I've yet to beat it.

I accidently hit the "Talk" key instead of "Reload" about half-way through the video. I actually do that alot, I should change that key

Fraps really killed the framerate at some parts. Wasn't much I could do about that.

The only reason it can be done with 1% is because only the pickup items count towards you percent in this game (Items/suits/beams gained by downloads/ absorbing core Xs don't count). There is one missile pack however that is unavoidable, otherwise I would've been able to get 0%!

Playing Metroid Prime, battling the final boss. While I come close, I end up losing this battle. I do have a recording of me winning against the final boss, but it's currently not available on the computer.

. btw are you on normal or hard on this video? I remember that Metroid Prime (the boss) took me a few tries on hard, but its not as hard as the omega pirate (oh how i loathe you!), i beat him with 37 energy left

Once you beat the game, hard mode is unlocked, and if you get 100% items a secret video will be shown which ties in with the sequel.

PS: Omega Pirate is really hard on hard, by far the toughest boss!
