Don Stracci: Bak Long Triads? Competitors. Chinese think they can muscle in on our business... ain't gonna happen. So long as they stay in their turf, I'm fine with 'em. I've never had a solid business transaction with them yet, nor do I really plan to in the future.
Don Stracci: The four families? The Cuneos are the ones I'm closest to, them and the Luccheses. Ottilio and I get on fairly well, and he's got a large family and large operation. Runs a large "milk" procession plant upstate. He'll support my attack on the Purifiers, no problem. Hell they all will really, as it represents a clear and present danger. The Luccheses are the oldest and most powerful, and their don's always out to keep the peace between all of us, if he can. He uses his not inconsiderable influence to ensure we all generally play nice. Emilio Barzini is an ambitious don, and head of one of the more brutal families. None of us trust him much, and we hardly do business with each other but... he can at least be relied upon to close ranks with us for this upcoming attack. Finally, there's that little pimp, Philip Genovese. The Genoveses are the youngest family in terms of existence, and are into all the vice businesses you can think of. Drugs, prostitution, gambling, etc. Nobody really cares for 'em much, but they're there all the same.
Vergil: Um... well... I haven't been around more than a day with these guys. Axel is the one I know the best, and seems driven by one thing: Lily, or that creature I saw in the labs. He cares for her a great deal, and while I can't blame him for this, I also see he's loyal to his friends... except now he's gone missing, and it's been reported he simply left... so maybe his loyalty isn't as great as I initially thought. The three canines I haven't had the chance to observe much of, and that... wolf was unconscious for most of this, and now that his speech patterns are all screwed up, I can't really take him seriously. The human who joined us seems a bit hot-headed, but another loyal sort. Is it just me, or do I sense some sexual tension between Tony and Anne? Maybe I'm just seeing things that aren't there, but that's kind of an impression I got. Anyway, the don's son is an interesting figure, if a little luckless at present. Certainly seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Anne would get along with uh... what did Don Stracci say? The Genoveses? Think that's about all I got for now.
