The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Browsers that hide your IP

Well, I don't know any browsers that could actually hide your IP, BUT, I do know a program that could disguise your IP address. It's called Hotspot Shield, you can download it from here:

Me? I rarely use it. The only real reason I downloaded it is so I could watch videos on Veoh. Here in Indonesia, Veoh's blocked...unfortunately. <_<

Well, good luck! :)

You can't "hide" your IP.  You need your IP address in order to connect to anything!  The only thing you can do is connect through a remote server that will allow you to access material through THEIR IP address.  But this subject is a bit sketchy.  The ability to change your IP and/or to connect from a remote IP can be abused.  I won't help people to do such things.  Google is a great source of information.  You don't need to go asking around forums about this sorta thing. <_<

I would think it's a very normal question LBTL. Many things the US makes are not available in other countries so it's nice if we can have a chance to see it too. I don't know of a browser that can hide your ip... But as austin said you can surf through another IP.

There is a list of sites that will do that for you. Gl.
