Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Special Congratulations to New Order, one of the few to be around practically from the day this board was founded!   :birthday
Congratulations for becoming adult. Are there any activities legal but only from the age of 18 on in Portugal? (I'm myself still being asked to show my passport when I buy fireworks on New Year's Eve).
Anyway, I hope you will have a merry celebration and a next year of life marked by health, sucess, and contentment.  :yes

Thanks guys, I seem to be pretty late for the party :p Man, 2006 was already 9 years ago, and such a hard year for me, I should've come here on that day I'm sure it would've cheered me up a lot.

You are one of the first who ever were here and even if you haven't been around for a while everyone is always welcome to return to this board :yes
I will always remember those early days of the GOF with gratitude to "the few" who were around back then already and contributed to the community really taking off in the following years.
