Songs "In the Land Before Time?"

I remember Noname's poll before and I thought it was a good idea, to have our own themes for characters, but I was also thinking what if our characters actually sang songs in our rp? I mean LBT does that as you know. So why not our rp?

Of course it's up to you guys if you think this is a good idea or not, so what do you think?

Sure. Why not? Singing is part of human life and culture, as apparently it is in LBT. Just don't expect that my character will sing every song there is.

Do you mean actual lyrics and all typed out, or just mention the char sings?

Sad to say, though I like the songs in the movies well enough, I wouldn’t like to hear them sung in real life without music behind them. For some reason, I can’t stand people around me singing.

I always either ask them to stop as quickly and politely as my present sanity level permits,

or cover my ears and leave the area as quickly as possible. (Obviously I wouldn’t actually be hearing them if they were sung in the RP, but that’s how my dinosona would react.)

I myself couldn’t hold a tune to save my life. If I tried singing, all the rest of you would be running for the hills.

I would rather just have the character themes,however if I do sing expect it to be an Enigma song like "Return To Innocence" or something like that.

That would make it a lot harder to take the RP seriously... the songs in the movies are very hard for me to watch... always were. :blink:

eh, yeah kind of, that's why if we're gonna sing its better to sing songs that are less childish that's why I chose character themes only, because I couldn't see myself singing a song from LBT.

Personally I'm not fond of singing...but themes for our characters might work a little better. I myself only sing when playing RockBand...and that's only because I seem to be the only one out of my group of friends who have the jewels to do it at all!

But in all honesty I can do either it's not a problem for me.

Speaking of polls, mind looking at mine? I posted a third one in the RP section. I know that, this being a LAND BEFORE TIME forum and all, a totally original work would not get half as much attention... but still, it is worth a look. You DID get your idea from this poll from me, you said.

Because the poll is fresh and open, and the story is accessible for all to see! The circumstances aren't getting any better than they already are!
