Itchy caught up quickly, clutching his heart. "Believe me...you don't hve to tell me twice," he gasped.

He turned to the newcomers. "Didn't we see one of you before?" he asked.

Hawk looked up to see the Pyres on the other side of the crevice aiming for them. "Um.. talk later. We still have those things on the other side."

"Get back from the crack!" Charlie said. "Maybe they won't follow!"

The Pyres could've easily fired upon the dogs from the other side, but there were orders to follow. Following such orders, the Pyres began to descend back into the ravine.

Tank cocked an eyebrow. "They gave up that easily?"

"You want them to keep going?" Hawk glared.

"No! I just thought they were more... um..."

"It doesn't matter now," Charlie interceded. "They're gone now. Now we have to find the girls and check on David."

"My owner should still be at the house, if that's the David you're talking about," Hawk gestured.

"Let's go then." Charlie leads the group to David's house.

Killer, who was watching the bobcat's orb, asked, "Wh-why did they just give up like that?"

"Because I have ordered them to," Blight replied coolly. "It was simply to send a clear message to the earth-bound heroes. And if they persist, then I'm ready to finish the job. Now as for these goody-two-shoes hellhound traitors, I'm simply in no mood for holding back punches. Hopefully, Belladonna can get her part done before they find out the real scheme of things..."

Belladonna watched the Pyres let Charlie and Itchy go.. she frowned something was not right.. as she headed back towards her abode she noticed a familiar smell "Mother' she muttered

"David?" Linda called. "This is Linda. Your neighbor from three doors down. Hawk ran off suddenly and..." Just then, something brushed against her hand and she felt the ears of Hawk as he leaned against her. "Where have you been?!"

Hawk was quickly joined by the other dogs.

"Hey David! It's Charlie! Is Sasha with you?"

Linda was stunned. "Who are... Is someone else here?"

Anne soon reached Earth and flew to David's house. "She said they'd be around here," she said, remembering Annabele's words.

She knocked her paw on David's door. "Ok, could I come in?" she called.

Itchy peered out the window. "Hey Charlie...isn't that that devil dog who said she was Annabelle's mom?" he whispered.

Charlie hugged back. "I'm not sure," he replied, "but now some cat from below has joined her and he may have been responsible for the ravine that destroyed the club."

Linda sat down to rest her feet, Hawk by her side. "Wait, who are you?"

Charlie's ears drooped back when he remembered. People could understand he and Itchy. Luckily, Itchy mentioned the hellhound that had said she wanted to help. "Um, David? Mind explaining this to our dobie's friend while I talk to the new visitor?"

Itchy unlocked the door and Anne entered. "Hello boys," she introduced, hen saw Charlie. "So you're Barkin, the one Annabelle told me she had a crush on after you first died..nice to meet ya, I'm Anne."
