The Pyres could've easily fired upon the dogs from the other side, but there were orders to follow. Following such orders, the Pyres began to descend back into the ravine.
Tank cocked an eyebrow. "They gave up that easily?"
"You want them to keep going?" Hawk glared.
"No! I just thought they were more... um..."
"It doesn't matter now," Charlie interceded. "They're gone now. Now we have to find the girls and check on David."
"My owner should still be at the house, if that's the David you're talking about," Hawk gestured.
"Let's go then." Charlie leads the group to David's house.
