Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

After tomorrow, which is Thanksgiving here in the US, is Black Friday: the busiest, and most crazy shopping day of the year. The day people camp outside stores hours before they open, and when the doors finally open, the people rush in in a frenzy to get deals on holiday gifts.

Like the title topic says, do any of you guys here on GOF ever had any crazy moments on a Black Friday (or just witness one) at a store?

As of now, I've never gone Black Friday shopping, so I don't have one personally.

People die in Walmart's while fighting for the 5 laptops they keep stocked for Black Friday. :rolleyes: No thanks.  I'll stay home and sleep in. :p It's not worth sleeping on the sidewalk for a dozen hours to save $100.  That's less than $10 an hour for sitting out in the freezing a$$ cold on the hard a$$ ground!  People are just crazy.  They don't think about it before they do stuff like this. :crazy

Yeah, I heard about the employee who got trampled to death a year or two ago  :blink:  How insane can these shoppers?!

People getting into a fist fight in lobbies (doesn't surprise me one bit) and they still go shopping. Isn't it "funny" when you run into the guy you got into a fight with five minutes later, doesn't make sense at all. I think I'm just going to sit back and possible start drinking, cause it ain't worth it in Florida especially since many people down here own guns.

The only time I usually go out on Black Friday is to my job :p.  Seriously, it's not worth going into all that craziness, and the savings are really not that much :rolleyes:.  Besides, I'm an Aspie and I get overstimulated in crowds rather quickly.  I attempted the mall on Black Friday a few years ago and ended up havin' an anxiety attack :bang.
