The second 2 were with someone else. That goes against the question I asked. The 3rd they didn't wake up near water.

No, because:
1) The residents of the Great Valley knew what a rainbow face was, and they didn't react to seeing them and,
2) they were found (regular ones) in a different film, just don't remember which one.
