Happy Valentine's Day

Today is Valentine's Day. This is known to many as "The Day of Love", which it so is, but there's more to it than that. It is meant to be a day to express how you truly feel about others. To spend time with those you care about.

For this year, I've decided to give some last minute Valentine's to a number of the members here. Who will I pick? You'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully, I can get all that I want to.

Okay, first thing to note is that this may take a bit to load, mainly because Photobucket is VERY busy today. It's not surprising though. It is Valentine's Day. Who wouldn't want to share some love pictures of theirs.

Next, note that these are made with Photoshop CS4. I'm not the best at it, but I do what I can.

Well, here's the last one I'll be doing.

There's only so much I'm willing to do in a day. It's been a lot of work to put these together. (So much time was spent finding the right images to work with.) Still, hope all of you that I picked enjoy the pictures I made.

So, who's the final one? None other than the one guy who unintentionally got me here in the first place, and one of my best friends here...

Hope everybody's day went well. I'm not so nuts about Valentine's Day, due to past events, but I think I'm getting past all that and finding some pleasure about this holiday

If anyone's curious, what happened before were two sad events: The first, on Valentine's Day 2001, I found out my grandmother had cancer in the later stages. She was operated on, but died of a pulmonary embolism on Feb. 25th. The second event happened on Valentine's Day 2007, when one of my dogs died

. So, it's not the easiest holiday for me to face, but I feel it's getting better.

I remember being a bit of scrooge when it came to it. Yeah, so what if society tries to make it all about romance and couples? You can spread love to others rather then just a significant other.
