Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I hate most commercials on TV but not all of them.

Funny commercials.  Commercials can be funny, but not when you have to see them hundreds of times like you do if you have to watch commercial tv.

Aside from a number of one-time Super Bowl Commercials, it's been a long time since I saw a commercial that I really liked and wouldn't mind seeing again and again.

If I had to guess when I stopped enjoying commercials, I'd say mid-90's.  Yeah, pretty much when parents started their little take over of Kid's Shows.  I think that when the shows went downhill, commercials did too.

Until I can compile a nice list, here's a Drug PSA I just LOVED watching.  I mean, it's absolutely brilliant!

I hate all commercials.  None of them have any thought and I sit down to watch a show, not to get advertised to about some stupid waxer or whatever. :rolleyes:

The Chuck Norris Mountain Dew commercial was freakin' hilarious :spit  :spit!  

I remember this Mountain Dew ad from back in 2001.  It featured a spaceship that flew low and took out an outhouse in the middle of nowhere, leaving the dude sitting there looking around like, "WTF?!" :lol.  That was funny :lol!

I love old commercials in general. They're creative, and there's certain charm & quality in them that is not present in today's commercials. The jingles in those old commercials are fun and catchy in my opinion. I could honestly just sit back, watch them for a long time, and have no complaints. In fact, if most commercials today were made similar to how it was back then, you can say that I would be sold on almost everything. :)
