I know that Switzerland is known for its chocolate. Is there any kind of candy that Switzerland lacks that you really enjoy? Maybe not necessarily candy that it completely does not have, but maybe hard to find as well?

No, not really.  I don't eat sweets that much, so I am not missing anything through 'hard to find' types.

This one just popped into my head:

Well-traveled as you are, have you learned any additional languages besides English?

(For some reason, I have trouble remembering you're originally from England; I keep thinking you're Swiss. :wacko)

Oh I wish I was swiss, seriously but alas I have to wait ten years for that.

I have to learn German.  i say that as if it is a bad thing, it generally isn't.  It's just that I find it slightly harder than I do with french but there are some words I know, although not enough to have a full conversation as my sister can, but I'm getting there.

I also learnt french, although that is more able to read it than speak it.

I learnt some Maori in NZ school...but erm...I only know Kia Ora.

Wow. I took over four years of Spanish in grade school, and I could still barely make my own sentences. :rolleyes

Pangaea: It means like ''be well'' generally but it was taught to me as ''hi''.

Nick: No where were I haven't been, so I've been rather lucky on that front, although I would like to go to some historical sites in Egypt, Greece and Italy.

Don't really know how to answer this question to be honest.  I know that if my family decided to make a trip over to Forida again, then I'd probably would want to go.  But other than that, not really.  I'm rather put off on flying by the heap amount of people that board the planes, it's just torture.

Amy: Thank you for the Christmas wishes, I'm sorry that it is rather delayed.  I hope you had a good Holiday.:)
Panagea:  I'm tired to be honest.  Go back to university on Friday and I have exams when I get back, the first and second week, so I've been busy revising for them. :)

Do you ever find yourself doing incredibly absentminded things? (I just posted a question asking how Mozart was doing, before I realized that, being away from home at college, you might not know yourself. :oops)

Yes, I do actually although not as frequently.
However, to answer your question in regards to Mozart, I do know that he's doing okay from what Mum has said.  He had a bit of an accident in which he had too much food, that worried me, but he's alright.

Thanks.:)

In January we (dad, sister and I) went to see Harry Potter again in the cinema.
Other than that, not really.  Haven't had much time but hopefullly when mum and sister visit next week, we will be seeing some films like; King's speech, Black Swan, Tangled.

Yeah, sorry for the boring answer.

Just curious about your choice in the “If you were an animal what would you be?” thread:

Why a platypus? :lol

In the wild, the platypus is a rare and reclusive animal that is hardly ever seen in the wild.  So a bit like me..since I go to great lengths to avoid.:p

Besides the males have those cool poisonous spikes.:D

Ohhh…I just realized now that the thread’s question was “what animal you are most similar to?”, not “what animal would you like to be?”. Whoops. :oops

Incidentally, the platypus is an animal I've been rather interested in lately. In addition to the venomous spurs (I'm really curious as to how those things evolved), their nesting burrows can be over 50 feet (15 meters) long; they eat 15 to 30 percent of their body weight in a day; the bill is packed with sensors that detect the electrical signals given off by their prey, making them (along with echidnas) the only mammals to hunt by electroreception; and while it's not known whether or not they actually dream, they spend more time in REM sleep (the stage in which dreaming occurs) than any other mammal. I'm considering making one a character in my books. :smile

Uhhh…just making conversation there; I don't really have another question at the moment. :oops
