We can all agree that The Land Before Time 13 was the absolute WORST of the franchise.  Anyone who dares to take this on and review it is very brave.

May God have mercy upon this reviewer's soul.  I present the review of the movie that killed our beloved franchise.

The Land Before Time 13 Review

Who would've guessed that 13 would end up being our unlucky number?

All I can say is I'm glad I didn't see this movie in its entirety.

Oh, Littlefoot...what have they done to you? They turned one of my childhood heroes into a freakin' narc.  Also with all the emphasis they put on the Wisdoms, you'd expect them to be some great life lesson like "You're only one small part of something much greater." or, you know, something inspiring like that. Instead it's "Stay close to the herd, stay in a group, etc." The very same lessons we've been hearing since the first Land Before Time.  Also, singing and dancing defeating the Sharpteeth? Can you say Big Lipped Alligator Moment?

The actual review was good. The reviewer was pretty funny and brought up a lot of good points. Not really much that I can say other than it was good.

I just want to conclude that I was pretty disappointed with the Berry Valley. For some reason I expected it to be nothing but trees of berries, not the Great Valley Jr.

I didn't even give a hoot about the 13th movie. When I saw that cover I said to myself "okay, I can obviously tell this film is not going to be anymore mature than invasion of the tinysaurus. Even that film was too kiddie for me."  If you are going to give what I call a "sendoff"(your best and final project that will give EVERYONE a reason to remember)to a franchise at least do a better job than this. I'll go back and watch UP.

Why do you think the 13th was the best one?

In my opinion, the best LBT movie is the original. Can't beat the original.

Because it (along with 11-12) had more ALOT more humor than the other movies, and it had better songs than most of the movies (expect All Sorts (LBT4), Girls (LBT11), Flip, Flap and Fly (LBT12)).

Personally I'm not fond of the LBT songs anymore, so I never listen to them anymore nowadays.

I have never watched LBT13 so I may watch it.  I tried to rent it but I don't think the video store has it anymore. I never see it.

All parts can be found here, just search through the playlist across the bottom of the page.

I did see that, but I don't like the quality of the video so I didn't watch it. I was hoping to find better quality. I may decide to just buy the movie from Amazon if it's still available.

My brother and I may be doing LBT reviews, but I don't think we should start until I get a hold of LBT13.

Eh, he's okay. :p He sounds like he's bored with the review, there is no energy and he seems to drawl on what he says. There is no articulation or annunciation so it's harder for people like me to listen to what he is saying... <_<

I'm guessing he hasn't done this before, so that's forgivable, but still, just in the future if he plans on continuing these, he might have to articulate and annunciate more.

You got it that quick? When we order movies from walmart, they take FOREVER to get here. We ordered Sasquatch Mountain six or seven days ago, and it's not here yet.

When I first saw the movie itself I thought it wasn't as bad as when I first saw the cover. However I still think Universal could have done a little more with this one. Same thing goes for the Yellowbellies too. For me it gets a 5/10, which is the lowest I've ever rated any animated film/show so far.

I stopped ordering from Walmart long ago. They take long. I'd go to Amazon or F.Y.E. when it comes TLBT or anything else. As a matter of fact I rarely by movies from stories anymore as I'm very picky when it comes to movies and most of these movies I order can only be obtained via internet.

LBT13 was the worst animated movie I've ever seen. Someday I should make an video review for the thing.

You've not seen many animated movies, then... ;) If you compare it to disney classics and the original LBT, yeah, then it's the worst movie ever. But if you compare it to say... Some movie you have seen in the past as a child and completely didn't care about (try checking out some movies with horrible drawing, voice acting and script) :p In that case the land before time isnt so bad...

I've got nothing against LBT 13. As much as I'll agree it's not the best one of the franchise I don't think it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Still, each to their own.
Question... where is this guy on "thatguywiththeglasses.com"? I've never heard of him neither have I seen him on the site. Are you sure you got your sources right?

You did see him Jay ;)
When we were at Gus' place last year we watched some episodes from that guy with the glasses. It was there that I first heard of him and I've been watching his new releases since then.
The LBT reviews are not from him personally I think.

As for LBT 13 I considered it a very, very poor sequel, but not an extremely deep drop since I hadn't been particularly inspired by those sequels that preceded LBT 13 either. Many of the problems of LBT 13 could be found in LBT 10, 11, and 12 already (it essentially sums up as focusing on an even younger target audience than in case of earlier sequels) a and LBT 13 merely continued the trend as far as I am concerned.

Yeah I know about Doug Walker (the Nostalgia Critic et al.) but I don't recall seeing this "Dukect" guy. I've never seen him on the "that guy with the glasses" website. Anyway, points made, moving on... :p
