Frank got up taking one of the flashlights. "You guys ready," Frank asked.

"I am ready, I am, I am." Ducky said nodding. Spike nodded also, there may be some interesting things to eat or drink in the cave and why not explore a bit also. It may be fun.

"Me guess if you guys go me go too." Petrie said.

"I may remain behind and tend the fire, as much as I'd like to explore someone should do that." Dan said.

"Let's go then," Cleve said, marching off into the dark cave, holding a burning torch in front of him.

Ruby and Chomper looked at eachother, nodded, and walked off after Cleve.

Frank and littlefoot followed cleve, ruby, and chomper.

Petrie flew up and landed on one of his 4 footed friends, not wanting to fly ahead of where the lights were.

Ducky rode on Spike who walked along with the others. "This cave may have fun things to see and fun places to play." She said, thinking of some fun things her friends had found in other caves and such before.

"Me hope so. Me hope it have no scary things." Petrie said looking around hoping he didn't see anything scary.

"Speaking of fun things to see," Ruby said, "I can hardly see at all." Ruby marched on into the dark cave keeping a hand of Chomper. Despite the flashlights and the torch, it was still fairly dark in the cave.

Frank walked behind cleve with littlefoot walking by frank. "Yeah we should all stay close by and not wander off," frank said.

"This cave is pretty straight," Cleve commented, "and there aren't any divergences. The chances of us getting lost is pretty low..."

"But our chances of finding anything useful is the darkness is pretty low too," Chomper said.

James kept his shotgun at the ready but there seemed to be little to no threats.

"Know anything about this?" James asked.

Deimos shook his head. "I've never been here before," he said.

"It has been good so far, it has, it has." Ducky said. Spike sniffed around but had not smelled anything that smelled like it may be eatable.

"me glad we have light. Me no scared... much, by dark." Petrie said.

"It is easy to found our way back if it keeps on being straight." Ducky said.

Frank kept shining the flashlight ahead of the group. "Hey cleve do you think there are any plants we can use to make bread here?" Frank asked.

Cleve shook his head. "I don't think that wheat has even evolved yet," Cleve said, "even the modern grass hasn't evolved yet. The grass here looks different."

"Maybe there is wheat on the island where Chomper was. It had many strange looking and tasting green stuff." Ducky said.

Spike licked his lips, he remembered the way the stinky flowers, as they were called, tasted.

Cleve shook his head again. "Wheat isn't green."

All of a sudden, Cleve's melancholy was broken by a beam of light.

"Guys, look," he shouted, "Do you guys see a light at the end of the tunnel?"

"I don't know if I ever known this place," Ruby said, "despite being familiar with the Mysterious Beyond and all."

"My sniffer doesn't smell anything weird," Chomper said, "should we go forward?"

Cleve walked towards the light. It got brighter and brighter as he approached it. Cleve used his left hand to shield his eyes from the light.

"This is odd," he said out long, "It's supposed to be cloudy outside."

"The strange light is being strange," Ruby added.
