"Littlefoot?" Cleve asked, "Is that your name? Well, we won't hurt you if you don't hurt us." Cleve put his pistol back into his holster.

"Anyone else with you?" Cleve asked.

"Should we show ourselves too?" Chomper asked.

"Yeah, it's always kind to be nice to strangers , and it's nice to be kind to them" Ruby said, walking out of the bush.

"Welcome, new comers," Ruby declared, "I'm sure that you will all feel welcomed in our welcoming valley."

Chomper slowly walked out of the bush. "Hey, newcomers." Chomper, in his excitement, had forgotten that he was, after all, a sharptooth. Sharptooth usually we're well-tolerated by leaf-eaters outside the Great Valley.

Petrie fearfully came out with the others, not sure if they should or if they should have run off instead.

Ducky waved, "We're all glad you are not mean like some others are, we are, we are. ANd we are glad to meet you, yep, yep, yep." She said nodding emphatically.

Spike, not seeing what all the fuss was about remained relaxed and bit off some grass to eat as he walked along with the others.

"This is my brother Spike, he would say hello, but he doesn't speak much, no he does not." Ducky said. Spike nodded to this as he ate his food and swallowed then made a sound that he was happy to meet the new folks.

Dan went back with the others, glad at the amount he had picked. He was sure they would have some left for tomorrow breakfast, always a good thing then having to look around for breakfast before one can eat it.

"You guys have a sharptooth with you too?" Cleve asked, "The species variation in this valley sure is great."

"This here is Chomper," Ruby introduced, "Chomper is here. He's a sharptooth, but he'll never hurt you."

"Hi," Chomper smiled nervously and waved.

Dan looked up from where he had been putting the bucket down and then waiting to for a bit before coming over, and taking a picture with his cell phone. "There is quite a variety indeed." He said looking at those present and thinking of some he had seen before. "Quite a variety of different dinosaurs indeed. Though I don't recall seeing many meat eaters before, mainly plant eaters. Though I've not been here to long."

Deimos offered some of the lizards he had caught to the new arrivals. "Crawlers?" he asked.

James's stomach growled. "I could use dinner," he said.

"No thanks," Cleve said, turning his head.

"You like crawlers too?" Chomper asked with delight, "I'd like one... Wait, you're not sharpteeth, are you?"

Deimos handed a lizard to Frank. He tossed the last piece of wood in the fire. "I'm going to get some wood and I need some help," he said. "Oh, and if you're going to clean the fish, don't throw the innards and stuff away."

"I'm going to prepare dinner," James said, getting out a cast iron skillet. "Dan, you mind giving me a hand with dinner?"

James then set up the heavy metal stand over the fire and placed the skillet over the fire. He then got to work scaling and gutting some of the fish with his handy knife. As Deimos instructed, he placed the fish guts near the lake.

James continued gutting the fish. "Try cooking up kind of dessert with the fruits you gathered," he said. "There's a pot in my SUV."

The pile of fish guts grew larger as James continued cleaning the fish. He had enough to for dinner and just enough to smoke for later use.

Dan went to get the pot and started to put in some of the berries to try to make some sort of dessert from the berries, thinking it best to stick with just the berried and not mixing in various fruits.
