"Yeah and I might be able to take some parts from one of the planes to help me repair my fighter," frank said.

"Or we can just repair one of the Avengers," Cleve said, "I'm not sure if your P-51 is repairable. Besides, because there are five Avengers, there are probably lots of spare parts. Even if we can't repair the airplanes, we might find some medical, food, and survival supplies."

Deimos nodded as he responded to Cleve's question and handed him a skewer of smoked fish.

"So what's the plan for today?" he asked.

James walked onto the campsite, his hair was wet for he had bathed in one of the secluded rivers nearby.

"So what's up?" James asked. ""Oh, hello Glide," he said, turning to the Wingtail.

"So should we eat breakfast while we plan our next move?" he asked. He then turned to Glide. "Care to join?"

"Well we could introduce ourselves to the valley," frank said. He then turned to Deimos. "Is there a meeting place in the valley?" Frank asked.

Dan nodded, "if you know what is wrong with your plane and the parts are compatible we may be able to repair your plane. Some parts we may can use, maybe for shelter or other uses since we do not know how long we'll be here." Dan said.

"It blew up on impact the wings are off one of the wings was ripped open but I think I can take apart one or two of the avengers to help build a shelter," Frank said.

He started licking one of his wings.

"I spent my childhood trying to survive, not chasing silly spectres that come to me the night."

"I'd prefer that you use my name, Deimos" Deimos replied coolly. He then turned to Frank. "The main lake with the waterfall is the meeting place. I do need to warn you that many of the dinosaurs may not care about this expedition."

James returned with his tackle box and fishing rod. "If any of you could start a fire in the big burn pit, I could catch some fish for breakfast," he said, heading over to the lake.

Deimos glanced at the woodpile. "I can gather wood later," he said.

"I can start a fire. I have a cigarette lighter in my car glove box, and one built into my car also since one can use an adapter to power other devices. And I remember how to start fires from when I was a boy scout though I've not done those in a while." Dan said. He went to the wood pile and gathered some to put into the fire pit with assembling them and including some local kindling that would be easy to light. Then he went to get the cigarette lighter from the glove box of his car. "if we're here a while I may use one of the other methods." Dan said before he made sure the fire pit and area around it was ok and safe before he started the fire.

"I still have mine even after I saw the city I was born in destroyed," Frank said. He then lowered his head as it was still hard form him to talk about.

Cleve didn't want to risk lowering Frank's moral, so he said nothing. "I'll gather some small branches around the camp," Cleve said. He walked around the edges of the camp to pick up some small branches to use for kindling.

Dan started the fire then made sure he had things set up so the fire would burn a good long time.

"There, that should last a while," he said as he backed off from the fire, "and I think ti should last a while so it should be ok for cooking." He said, not sure what to say considering Frank's feelings and problem.

Frank walked around while several of the valley residents stared at him but he ignored them.
