The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Hey guys, *I can't even believe i'm saying this, but on December 5th, it will be the 10th anniversary of the movie that introduced us to Pterano  "The stone of cold fire"

Man! I hate how the time Flies! (I was in 6th grade... 11 years old when it was released)

Now pretend that they did release a 10th anniversary blu-ray of it...
what would be some bonus features that you would like to see.

(I've seen that the new Disney blu-rays have added bonus material and games  for example.

Would you have any ideas for a "game" if there even were a 10th ann. blu-ray release?

And personally, (I have lots of fun imagining this) I would love to see LBT talking dolls  (you know those toys where you squeeze a button on it's arm *or on another part of the body* and it talks...

(I mentioned this in another post of mine.)

Well, I'd really want to see a talking Pterano doll. It would be in a decent, larger size. I've thought of a few phrases, too:

-"I'm a very important creature"

-"You are quite an adventurer"

-"Have you seen my nephew, Petrie"?

-"I was born to lead"

Those are a few phrases I thought of.  Pretty neat, huh?  ;)

What's funny is that I still remember the night (December 5th :p) my mom picked it up for me and I watched it :smile.  I was a freshman in high school :yes.  I still remember how badly I wanted to beat the livin' crap outta Sierra for masterminding the kidnapping of Ducky, and for just bein' nasty to her.

I think I was seven when this came out. o.O

Would be nice if there were anniversery additions to our favorite sequels wouldn't it?

What is sad is I know every scene of this movie by heart. :P: It's like I keep waiting for something else to happen in this film.

The one thing I remember about this movie was the new animation style. Even though I liked the original animation, I have to say that the new style of animation that was used from this movie onward was better (Please don't kill me for this comment, for it is solely personal preference).

Cancerian tiger-  Whoa! very well put. I really hate Sierra, too :anger

(True) One day in Dec. 2003 *When I was a freshman in high school (My mom, sister and I were packing for a Christmas Florida trip. And I was flipping through the channels and suddenly Pterano flashed on the screen *total shock went through my body*.

I found the channel, turned the t.v. off, went to my room, locked the door, turned on my t.v. and watched it while packing my suitcase.

Next week (On the 19th) i'm gonna be 21. I hate the genetics I got from my dad. I now have 2 tiny little patches of gray hair on my head (my hair is brown btw)

I'm sorry for being too weird or deeply obsessed (but i'm going to type my Pterano thoughts that go on in my head... when I see pics of Pterano, lots of emotions go through my body.

I am NOT BEING GAY at ALL!  It's the other kind of love. the "Wow! you are incredible, wonderful and amazing" kind of love

I get happy and excited because he's so so beautiful. Another thought that goes through my head is

"Wouldn't you like to meet him... wouldn't you like to meet him"

"Wouldn't you like to give him a big, long hug.... ohh yes you would Jared... wouldn't you"

The other emotion that I go through looking at a Pterano pic is sadness.

Yes.. I cry (with tears...... works every time... and I only do that in total privacy)

I even cry and turn the tears on in bed at night.

because Pterano was a one-shot character and NEVER appeared in any of the remaining 6 movies and NEVER appeared in the t.v. series.

and I cry like niagara falls when I picture Pterano flying away for the last time in "Cold Fire"

as he says his final line (after being shooed away by Topsy)

"Then again, there'll be others I shant miss at all."

But when I look at Ptyra's art, It does make me feel a little better.

so, can Pterano make a nearly 21 year old man cry... yes he can.

my body may look 21.. but I still got a bunch of kid inside of me.

(I would also like to meet Rinkus, too)

A tiny story: when I was working a few days ago. one of the guys had a pink shirt on (it was actually a faded out coca-cola shirt that used to be red) and the other guys picked on him.

The first thing that came into my head was Rinkus.

Now.. on to another thing... I was working... trying to figure out my own Pteranodon.. Ptero's appearance and i'm still working on his appearance

(I mentioned Florida earlier... and we're MOVING there next month. It's true! we are leaving Michigan)

and my mom found a college down there that has a great computer animation class there.

I could LEARN to animate Ptero.. if I learned the proper skill.

See the thing that i'm unsure on is.... I wanted to "dress him up" with a neck ring.. but i'm not sure if giving him a neck ring would be copying LBT or not...

he would look more fancy and beautiful if he had one.

Now see unlike you, I LOVE Sierra. The flyer trio has been my favorite since the year 2000. And actually the seventh sequel is what rekindled my love for LBT. :yes

I still wub that lying flyer(Pterano) to bits even after all of those years. :wub I loved how Sierra was voiced by the same guy that did the voice over for Darkwing Duck and NegaDuck. :3 Had the same rough and tumble accent and everything.

It's official today (Dec. 5th)

HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY STONE OF COLD FIRE!  :birthday

The movie that gave us Pterano, Rinkus & Sierra.  :D

 :birthday  :birthday  :)

What did you do about it today? Did you watch the movie? Did you draw a character?

I'm writing an rp along with with bushwacked and redtooth101 called "Flyers of the Mysterious Beyond"

Its about me and Luke (bushwacked), two newcomer rhamphorhynchuses who come to hang out and have fun with Rinkus, Sierra, and Pterano.

Wow. The Stone of Cold Fire's tenth anniversary, eh? I can't believe it's a decade old! :wow

'Fraid I didn't do anything today to celebrate it (I wasn't even aware of the occasion until I logged on a few minutes ago :oops), but I rarely celebrate movie release date anniversaries anyway. :p Still, this movie is of some significance to me in that it was the last LBT installment I saw for about seven years until my rediscovery of the series almost two years ago (Has it already been that long?)

Well, as long as there's a thread for it, happy tenth star day, LBT VII! :birthday :birthday :birthday :birthday :birthday:birthday :birthday :birthday :birthday :birthday

Hehe, I celebrated my sis's birthday day. :-3 Though techinquely her official Starday was yesterday.

Naw, I didn't do anything with this sequel today, but it's still a very important sequel to me. It's the sequel that got me BACK into the obsession of LBT and made me rethink a few things regarding LBT.
