The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I was searching ebay.co.uk and found a ten DVD collection of the land before time with lbt from 1 to 10, is this for real? The price was strangely low £15

I'm sure it'll go higher as the auction wears on.  I believe this is your auction:

Also, shipping is nearly $17...that's a big deterrant too, plus if you notice, this in the UK ebay...and they're region 1 discs....they don't match so that's probably another reason its a bit low.

Still sometimes it is possible to make some really good deal at ebay. Not too likely in case of such a large DvD collection, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you to be lucky NewOrder :)

And be weary as well it might be downloaded to computer movies which would mean he will make copies and send them off. that another thing to watch out on. I never get things with just a picture on it, I would like to see the DVDs on display not some picture image. But thats me.

Yup me too. I'm an ebayer but not a very active one =p Only bought about 7 or 8 things, none of which too expensive. I ended up not "trusting" the buyer and ignoring that auction. As for the region 1, I hope I never end up buying one, I'm in region 2 so region 1 DVD's are no good :D
The shipping however was a bit pricy, but nothing compared to the american one's, and on top of it all you have to pay a costums charge plus IVA (which is that tax on the things you buy, here it's 21%) I bought an item from the states for 42 euros (52 dollars), ended up paying 89 (111 dollars) because of all these "little" things, at least from the UK these things don't matter because of the trade agreement between all europeen union countries, pretty cool hun? =p

I was only bummed once on a bogus dvd (Disney's Brother Bear) and unfortunately, the member got booted off of ebay before I could ask for a refund and return it.  It works, so I guess I'm keeping it until it can't be read anymore.  Burns usually don't last as long as a pressed dvd.
