Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Howdy everyone!
An annual celebreation of Western culture, the Calgary Stampede, just ended for another year in my hometown.  I attended the event with a few friends on Saturday, and I just wanted to share a few pictures with you folks:

The event takes place just outside downtown Calgary, in the south part of the city.  It draws over a million people over its 10-day show; it's really a good time, dubbed the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" . B)  :p

Wow.  I haven't been near a rodeo, or horse racing event in...well gosh, longer than I can remember. :p  It's almost like an old time county fair from the bygone era. :D :D

It really is an interesting experience.  This year, the Stampede rodeo became the highest level of rodeo in the world, with a $1.6 million prize for the winner.  Only the top 20 in the world qualify for the Stampede rodeo as of this year.
