The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

It's been boiling over here too. Every state in the lower 48 had temps of 90 degrees or higher on Saturday, which has to be a record.

It was about 98.6 over here. They predict it is going to get even hotter!
I'm afraid we'll have to grow accustomed to such temperatures. Then again we had an extraordinarily long winter over here this year. I guess the climate here is best described by the word "nuts"!

Oh my...that makes our thunderstorms and hail look like nothing.

We had an unusually warm winter up here, too.  The summer has been either warm-hot weather (in the 25 to 30 C range) or Rain. :P:   It's actually been pretty good weather all summer; not many really hot days, not a ton of rain, and a lot of comfortable weather.

Haha, I can relate!  Not many people have A/C in their homes around here.  My car, unfortunately, is too obsolete to have A/C.  It gets pretty hot in there on some of these summer days!
