The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

She is in 12, and with a surprise!!!!! =)

That was what I asked her about with Tria being involved with Mr THreehorn. So now they are keeping in charcaters from a pervois LBT.

I would say that this is a improvement! wouldn't you say that? guys

Forgive me for answering the question then.   -_-   You asked if we felt it was a good move, and I said no; if you're looking for an explanation, here it is:  the fans have wanted other characters brought back for the longest time, but they decide to bring back a different one.  I've nothing else to say.

If there will ever be the much speculated return of Ali, it better ought to be a really good movie. Sorry for my bluntness, but I would be extremely disappointed by Ali returning in an LBT 10 style movie.

I was suprised that she wasn't.

But LBT 12 might be good. got to wait and see. Wonder if they will go a LBT 13 after it.

I expect an LBT 13 sometime either late 2006 or early 2007.

LBT 13? Wow, but this staying young thing has got to end by 13. I am starting to get tired of seeing them young all the time. It kind of gets old(no pun intended). Yeah they are cute and all, but only the first movie made me feel those emotions.
The sequels make me feel they are little kids that get into trouble all the time. Nothing else.

By my theory, Littlefoot should be hitting puberty in LBT 12 or 13. Not counting the first movie, Littlefoot grows 1 dino-year each movie.

Movie--Age

LBT1-0 to 2 years
LBT2-3 years
LBT3-4 years
LBT4-5 years
LBT5-6 years
LBT6-7 years
LBT7-8 years
LBT8-9 years
LBT9-10 years
LBT10-11 years
LBT11-12 years
LBT12-13 years
LBT13-14 years

But on the other hand many of the LBT stories could take place in a very short time span. LBT 2 might begin just a few days after the original story (which is likely considering how much they celebrate that they "...finally found a peaceful valley". There is nothing that would disprove the assumption that LBT 3 takes place few days or weeks after LBT 2. After LBT 3 there must be some gap as it certainly took a while for the Great Valley to recover. But LBT 4 may again be followed by LBT 5. After the fifth movie there must be a break again (not as long as after LBT 3 though) for the leafs to recover. LBT 6, 7, and 8 May again come in close succession. It's fall in LBT 6, and it may have been in LBT 7, so the 8th movie could follow few weeks after. Once the snow melts (which could produce a lot of water to support the flooding of the Great Valley) LBT 9 could begin and again LBT 10 could come right after it.
As Apatosauruses grew by 2kilos a day (according to "Walking with Dinosaurs") Littlefoot would usually be quite huge already. I don't think that they are going to change anything about the character's outward appearance, though I could imagine changes in their conduct. But with really young kids being declared THE target group of LBT by Charles Grosvenor I don't suppose there will be anything serious, as they seem to assume that THE target group can't handle as much a sharptooth like the one in the original movie.  :mad
Still in general I really prefer the characters the way they are. I would not approve of a Bron-like looking Littlefoot, a Cera who begins to resemble her Dad, a Ducky who resembles her mother etc.

As for an LBT 13, I don't know of any official information. I suppose that whether or not there will be a 13th movie will largely depend on the success of LBT 11 and 12.

I'm not talking about them being adults. If you want to see them as kids, watch 1-11, but I am sick of it. They are stuck in a little box which makes it impossible to explore their individual personalities. In order to do this, they need to age a little. They need to grow smarter, solve more intelligent puzzles, gain more experience. This series is proceding in a linear path just like a television series. Absolutely very little to no character development.

Well kind of that might has happened in LBT 11 since at one point of it Littlefoot couldn't reach something and sometime later he mange to and tells his Grandpa "I'm taller now" Something like that and then his Grandpa replies "You was taller the day you stood up in front of everyone and admitted you was wrong"

So Littlefoot has grown a little bit but not much.

Back to Walking with Dinosaurs. they look at the bones and I think they taking mostly guess work since how can you tell the age of a dinosaur by a bone that been turned into a rock like form fossil. Plus how can you tell a age of a dinosaur by a fossil? since it lost all traces of bone and whatever else is in the bone turning into mainly rock with a different feel to natural rock, so they could say a dinosaur was 7 years old when it died but really they not sure since it a rock like remain of a bone of the fossilized bone.

No one will really know what dinosaurs was like 255 million years to 65 million years ago.

New facts are coming in all the time plus the death of the dinosaurs has changed again. Since now they believe that strong volcano activity in the Idianian ocean caused the tempurture to raise over a long streach of time around 2 to 3 million years.

Slowly the dinosaurs and sea life was dying off but the meteor was the tip of the iceberg that finished off what the planet had started to do to the Dinosaur's eviroment.

So they can say that the kind of Littlefoot is grows 2 kilos a day but this could easily change into something else. No one can ever know the total facts of the dinosaurs.
