Pokemon Apokelypse

So this was leaked a couple days ago and has now found its way onto Youtube. This is a fan made trailer for a live Pokemon movie, except it follows a more dark and gritty tone rather than the light hearted nature of the anime. I think this was done really well, maybe minus the choices for Ash and Brock. Obviously, the effects are not going to be the best, but for a fan made trailer they don't look too bad.

I've read a little the links provided in the description and aparently, there will be no movie, only the trailer
The trailer looks great and it is really unfortunate there will be no movie

What The F***?! That trailer made me sick. I couldn't even watch through the whole thing. Yuck. I'm glad there's no movie.

I'd have to shoot myself as there's no longer such a thing as a movie that's even halfway decent anymore.

I agree with landbeforetimelover. That's nothing like pokemon. Ash is like 10 in the series, not some silly 20 year old.

Also, what the heck did they do with pikachu? I've seen some 3d renders of the cute guy, but this is the worst so far. As for that movie, I'd say it's a no no. Glad it's not coming.

I'm gonna be perfectly honest: that trailer freakin' sucked! I'm not just saying that because I don't like Pokemon(and quite frankly, I don't). I'm saying it because that trailer rivals Dragonball Evolution in suckiness.

Well there are some things to keep in mind here guys:

1. This is a fan made trailer, so of course it's not going to be amazing quality.

2. This was a spur of the moment idea the two had of creating a dark twist on something. In response to your comment Iris, you are absolutely right. This isn't anything like the Pokemon we are used to. It's an interesting new twist on a much darker themed Pokemon. Also, I assume this is taking place in a future time setting, as now battles are underground and run by Team Rocket, and like Brock said that everything they worked for was gone.

However, I can see why this trailer would turn people off, and at first I was very reluctant to accept it, but I watched it a few times and I liked it even more with every view.
