YouTube Celebrates 1 Billion Subscriptions

Today is a happy day for YouTube! Just hours ago, the "Subscribe" button was clicked for the billionth time. Wow! One billion subscriptions.

I knew YouTube would eventually hit this mark. After all, it is THE most popular Video Sharing Site across the entire internet. That good old Subscribe button has done a lot for it.

Anyways, to celebrate this momentous occasion, YouTube has a widget for all of those who have a website or blog. The widget allows your website or blog to have this amazing little button. So, for those that want to add it, here's the code.

I don't get what's wrong with someone going to Afghanistan. THAT has got to be the most messed up rule ever!

You don't need a google account for youtube. My youtube and google accounts remain unconnected.

When I created my youtube account, it said I had to create a google account first

Just use your email account to make one. It's not that hard.

And google accounts weren't necessary for YT accounts before. Now they are.
