Given Patrick's conduct to date, there is no chance Zordon will let him lead the team. I will have Tracy take temporary lead, until Rob is rescued. this will allow time for Tracy and Patrick to work out some of thier differences while they try to rescue Rob. thats only fair. in a team rp like this, each person has thier part to play. in reality Zordon would not let a Ranger speak so ill of him, that Ranger would not be on the team, very long.

I think that sounds like a plan. Tracy can act as a sort of second-in-command to Rob like Kimberly did to Tommy during Mighty Morphing.

Also Rocky, I have to stress again the whole Zordon bashing issue. A ranger would never refer to him as "alien" because it would show that he/she is not mature enough to put their prejudices or whatever aside for the sake of the world. Again, I get that you have certain ideas for your character, but you're letting the whole mistrust towards aliens idea get out of hand.

Zordon has been around for literally thousands of years, he knows how humans work, and their apprehensiveness to Aleins. But again, having Patrick be so disrespectful goes beyond the pale. Zordon should, and will tell him off, after all the Power Rangers are his team. As the TV show showed, the Rangers team changed its members, but Zordon remained.

To be frank, it would be better for character development if Patrick had been taken with Rob. it would have forced them to get over thier differences..

Well how about this. Once they get up to the moon palace. Patrick turns on them, and then convinces Zedd and Rita to let him exicute them, only to turn on Zedd and Rita, and all five rangers fight together as a team.

Then back at the command center, they demand answers and Patrick confesses most of his attitude was a russ to make Zedd and Rita think he'd really betray them, patrick could't tell them because Zedd and Rita would of been susspcious. He then apologizes for the way he treated everyone.

I don't think that plan would actually work. Zedd and Rita would have no reason to believe Patrick because he still has good in him despite his anger and hatred. Also, like Nick22 said, Zordon would most likely not let something like that go unpunished. Despite good intentions, this plan would jeopardize the other rangers.

The point of Rob getting kidnapped is for him to get over his fear of being incapable of leading the group. He'll fight Goldar, eventually beating him, and fight his way through the lair til he meets back up with the group.

We can figure another way to develop some more character for Patrick. In fact, maybe we can have Patrick and Tracy get in a situation and have the two of them work out their differences, because they seem to hate each other the most.

And while fighting through imposdible odds the rangers form the beginings to a fire forged friendship and when Patrick fights alongside the rangers he starts to realize they are formitible alone, but invincible together. And after seeing Zedd and and Rita face to face. He realizes how stupid he was to think they were the same as zordon. maybe they could do some damage to convince Zedd and Rita not to try that plan again. Like blow up the repulsascope, trash Finster's workshop, and maybe even sing a victory tune when they all meet back at the local saloon. (Last part joke)

sure you can have the nod, but given the Rangers weak at this point, its simnply, get Rob out and get the heck out..damaging finsters shiop and the like isn't going to happen.

That sounds like a plan, fast in and fast out. I guess Zordon and alpha may have some idea of the layout of Rita and Zedd's base?

Guess it'll just be the 4 of them since they have no way, they know of, to contact the gold ranger they saw before. Think he just appeared once before.

If you want your character to participate as well, he may certainly do so Kor. He could follow them to Zedd and Rita's base, or he could simply appear in the Command Center and be teleported with the other rangers.

Not sure how he could participate since he has no idea where either of the bases are. Not like he has any scanners to scan the areas, or scan for Rob's dna and go there. Jason with his tardis could do that, or could just know where the bases are, but John doesn't have those abilities or capabilities, nor resources.

Hello:
I know there is a way for John to help, maybe he'll appear in the best moment to help the others.

And I think that Zordon should know about John as Zordon knows all about the powergrid (was that the name? sorry if I forgot), but we also know Zordon will never betray someone's trust so I think John's identity will be kept as a secret if the Gold Ranger decides that.

I am also liking the changes in Patrick's attitude, I know that he'll become a great ranger
