Chomper, with his amazing sharptooth sense of smell, jumped out of his snuggling position from the tiny fart.

Roger walked inside, dripping with water and oblivious of the fart. "Don't worry, I won't take up much space and I have to hang myself to dry anyways" he said and then, oddly enough he began to scale the side of the cave, going until he got to the roof where he hung from his talons like a bat. "Just like back home" he said and opened up his wings for them to dry.

Pterano let out one last loud snort before waking up to the sound of Chomper's voice. "It's okay, Chomper. It happenes to the rest of us..." he muttered before drifting off into sleep.

The pink flyer smiled as Jared scooted closer and laid his head on his chest, closing his eyes.

Then, Jared snuggled up really close to Rinkus.

Jared sighed, "I love you, dad....*sniff!*"...he said softly, shedding a tear.

Then, he gently nestled his head on his dad's warm pink belly, and listened to his heartbeat..... ba-bump.......ba-bump.......ba-bump.......ba-bump.....as he drifted off to sleep all wrapped and snuggled up in Rinkus's warm, pink wings in his warm, comfy leaf bed. There was no safer place for Jared to be than in his dad's arms.

Rinkus let a tear fall down his eye, tightening his arms around the boy, giving him a goodnight kiss on the forehead. "I love you too, son." he muttered, snuggling himself into the bed before drifting off into a sleep.

The sun rose as Devon and Sierra were the first two to wake up, as was planned. They snuck over towards the sleeping Pterano, kneeling by his sides. Devon nudged the older flyer's shoulder gently. "Dad...time to wake up...Dad..." No replies of course came from Pterano, for he was still too deep in his sleep. "Dad..."

Sierra of course was losing his patience, he leaned over the red flyer's ear and shouted, "WAKE UP!!!!!"

Pterano snorted loudly before snapping his eyes open. Unfortunately for Devon trying to not wake Petrie and his friends, the little hatchlings woke up by surprise.

Chomper jumped up for the second time when Sierra shouted at Pterano.

"What's going on?"

Chomper then yawned, letting out some of the dreaded sharptooth morning breath, which always smelled like rotten meat.

Sierra's shout had also woke Roger. "Uh! What! Duck and cover Redtooth's here!" he said, accidently pulling his feet free and fell head first on the ground. "...ow"

(BTW, Redtooth is an actual sharptooth in one of my fanfics, didn't mean it as in my username lol)

Jared was startled, too! He sat up in bed and looked at Sierra right in his yellow eyes. Jared got angry at Sierra for hollering.

"Rrrhhh, Sierra!! WHY did you do that for? That was so rude, yelling in Pterano's ear like that! You are a very mean and rude flyer! Rrrrghh!!" :angry:

Said Jared...looking Sierra right in his yellow eyes and pointing at him. He was very annoyed with Sierra yelling poor Pterano awake like that. And right in his ear, too!

Jared gasped! "It's Pterano's star day?!?! Wow! I didn't know that.

I'm sorry I overreacted and yelled at you, Sierra." said Jared, still sitting up in bed looking into Sierra's eyes.

"You better be, you little-!" Sierra was about to lose his temper when Rinkus spoke up.

"Calm down, Sierra. My son didn't know it was Pterano's starday today." the pink flyer paused. "Wait a minute. It's Pterano's star day today?"

Devon gasped. "Yeah, happy star day, Dad!" he said, embracing the older flyer, which shocked him greatly.

Fury blinked his eyes open and yawned. He stretched as she climbed out of Arties wings and smiled sleepily. "G-good morning everyone." He murmured quietly. He then turned to Artie and smiled again. "Good morning. Can we get some food?" he asked gently.
