Well since Zilla was such a b*** in the movie remake, I have to go with the TV series sequel. His son was a better Godzilla than he was.

Curse of the Komodo. Actually I think that Komodo and King Cobra are connected to Curse of the Komodo and Komodo vs. Cobra, where else would the Komodos and the cobra come from? Plus all three komodo movies feature the same, or at least a similar, house on an island.

Also, when I said Godzilla remake I was referring to the american movie and the tv series that followed.

No, Komodo is connected to neither. But KvC is the sequel to Curse of the Komodo. And Zilla is what Toho calls the American "Godzilla" cuz they basically took the "God" out by making him vulnerable.
