An e-mail from Hasbro to EqD on matters regarding episode releasing.

We understand your frustration but the reason Hasbro can’t make the new episodes available outside of the US on YouTube/iTunes/DVDs etc. is that it would infringe on the deals made with TV networks outside of the US. A TV network would be very upset and could in some cases have a suit against Hasbro if an episode were viewed in their market for free or even via a DVD before it aired on their network. And some TV network deals also include a certain "holdback" time period on when an episode airs on their network vs. how long it would be OK for it to be aired/available elsewhere.

Unfortunately this also means, that for the time being you need to be patient. At the moment we don’t have any deals in place with Finnish broadcasters but we are working on it. But fingers crossed that we at some point will be able to offer episodes both localized and original on iTunes in Europe as well, since we would love to be able to provide this opportunity to all of our fans.

I do hope you will continue to support My Little Pony.

Which explains why the episodes on the HUB are Region Locked. It has to do with the TV Stations. They have yet to air the episodes there, and things could get ugly if they are given out too soon.

Yet, thanks to the internet, the old ways just don't work anymore and things need to change. It's just for the better.

It just happened this January and they had the voice actors of Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Princess Celestia (I saw it in youtube, the full VA panel video). Now they'll set up another meeting again this June.

Okay, listen everyone, I won't be able to do the things that I usually do when the episodes come on tomorrow. I've got an early shift tomorrow and that's what's going to be preventing me. I won't be able to see the episode on Live Stream and will have to watch it on YouTube.
