The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

REVIEW POST!!

Okay, here's the challenge with this episode, don't laugh at all.  If you pass, you prove to have no sense of humor.

Yeah, that's all it is, just one big laughfest as Spike tries to take care of the Mane-Six's pets.  All in the name of jewels!

As for SPOILERS, the CMCs, Zecora and Granny Smith join in on the fun.  Plus, we get to see the Crystal Empire. (For about 2 minutes.) Oh, and the most problematic pet, Angel! (If the trailer alone for Rise of the Guardians tells us anything, it's to not mess with a bunny.)

It's an enjoyable episode full of comedy moments that will have you laughing until the end.  Definitely worth watching.

Now to wait for it to appear on YouTube.

See ya later! :)

EPISODE POST!

One last little thing, with this episode, you'll learn that Angel isn't evil, just a fluffy critter that wants attention. *world explodes*

Oh come on!  Is it really that hard to accept that?

Just For Sidekicks

Oh, and this episode shows pan-handling is cannon. :)

See ya later! :wave

Looks like the pictures in the background that the phoenix that Spike hatched may have grown up and moved out and maybe is grown up.  Unless I am misinterpreting or not understanding.

I thought it was that Spike found Peewee's parents and returned him to them.

It may be that.  Either way it's a good way to explain why he/she isn't around and has not been seen in a while.

Yeah. I was surprised by how many people thought Peewee was going to be Spike's pet. C'mon, Spike doesn't seem like the kind of dragon who would keep a missing child as his pet.

Trying to find his/her parents does make sense and I'm sure it would not be hard for Twilight to cast a find, seek, locate spell to find Peewee's parents.

Cracked does an article about the darker side of the Brony fanbase. http://www.cracked.com/quick-fixes/4-insan...t-by-grown-men/

*Rant below*

After reading some of the comments left by butthurt Bronies, I've got to say that this a major reason why the Bronies get so much flak on the Internet. Why is it that the slightest bit of negative reception is enough to get under so many Bronys' skin?

I have to ask: What makes the Brony community so much different than any other fanbase out there? What makes us different from Trekkies, Whovians, Furries, Anime fans, etc.? Every fandom has been made fun of at one point or another. How many people have made fun of furries for "having sex in fursuits" or "wanting to be an animal"? How many people have stereotyped Trekkies as being overweight, wearing Star Trek clothing and speaking perfect Klingon? Bronies are just another  group that people like to poke fun at. Nobody's discriminating Bronies for liking a little girls show or anything like that. Bronies are not the first fandom to be ridiculed and they won't be the last.

So in closing, please, can this community please learn to just laugh at itself? It's not worth getting upset over something like this.
Every fandom has its dark side.  Or more accurately, every society has messed up people to deal with.  I don't let the activities of a few wacko's define me.  I've heard of most of those things, but thankfully haven't seen or experienced them.  I try to stick around sites with very strict rules so I don't see or experience anything too violent or sexual.  Of course the random Google search for pony images does bring up a sexual image or two, but honestly it doesn't bother me.  Seeing as it's (normally) filly on filly action and the images are so small, all I ever really see is a head in a not-so-appropriate place.

I've heard of most of the horrors of the fandom, not the least of which being the infamous fanfic "Cupcakes" (which I'm happy to say I've never read).  It sorta makes me wonder if this fandom is filled with mostly weirdos.  But I really don't care.  I love ponies and I won't let the actions of a few sickos change that.

You know the one thing that people are complaining the most about with the latest episode?  It's that the Element of Generosity gave Spike the smallest gem.

Now, while it's true that a smaller one could bring a lower value, the color of said gem could make quite a vast difference.  In this case, a tiny ruby was able to buy...

A GIANT INDUSTRIAL SIZED HAIR DRYER!!

If that doesn't scream "generosity", I don't know what does.

The episode was all the wait worth.

And at last Peewee and his parents had been showed.

So, Pinkie gets Twilight to try some Red Bull.  Predictable if you've seen the commercials.

Yet it's so hilarious!

No, you see my issue isn't that fandoms have their dark sides(I've been in plenty to understand that). My issue is Bronies always making mountains out of molehills. The Howard Stern thing? Not a big deal. This Cracked article? Not a big deal. The Fox News thing? Not a big deal.

The smallest bit of negative reception and Bronies get so butthurt about it. Any time a negative news tidbit about Bronies pops up,  Equestria Daily and any other Brony site will be whining about it.  What I want to know is: What is the point of getting so upset about negative press? All fandoms have faced it, not just Bronies. I remember when anime was the weird thing yet I don't remember anime fans bawwing about how they were being discriminated against. I don't remember anime fans sharing their "Coming out" experiences on forums.

As for Cupcakes, I've read it before, seen the images and I don't understand why it freaks so many Bronies out. Yeah, the images of Pinkie and Apple Bloom looking crazy is kind of creepy at first but that wears off quickly. Besides, I can name five horror movies that are far, far more disturbing than Cupcakes.

I agree. This fandom really has too many weirdos. Many of whom I think don't consider the younger audience that watches this show. My niece watches MLP and the last thing I'd want is for her to be on the Internet and find a picture of Rainbow Dash eating Pinkie Pie's...pie. Yeah, let's leave it at that.

I do. I remember anime fans being bitter about being discriminated against.

It's just like Eurovision Song Contest fans.

A postcard from Armenia made uproar.

And people from Balkan fights each other on Youtube.

Yeah this is why I stay clear of those people. I don't get offended if people laugh or make fun of me for liking this fan base. I simple ignore all the haters and so on. I think the community needs to lay off and lighten up. No wonder why people hate this community. Because it's people like that who kind of embarrassing. I steer clear from these wars and fights. This community needs to back off and learn to ignore instead of whining like babies. Plain and simple right there.

Exactly! That's exactly the point I was trying to get at here. Bronies do need to lighten up. Every fandom will have its haters, that's just how it is. Not everyone is going to think Bronies are cool.

Now I don't know if anime fans ever did whine about "discrimination". All the anime forums I frequented in the past, never once did I find a topic about being discriminated against. Who knows? Maybe I just didn't look hard enough.

Anyway, this'll probably be my last post on the subject. Bronies do need to take a chill pill. This fandom, despite what a lot of Bronies might want to believe, is not comprised of special little snowflakes. This fandom is not immune to criticism or even ridicule. It's a fandom like any other. We're no different than anime fans, furries, Whovians, Trekkies, or any other group.
