Basically, Bronies are butthurt of the idea of Twilight becoming an alicorn.

Seriously, if this constant whining keeps up, a change in "Fanbase Levels of MLP" may not be such a bad idea. You know, make fans EARN a certain title by the way they act. Let's see how far that gets and how fun it'll be.

See these adult men are acting like children over stupid things like this. It's makes me kinda embarrassed to be in this community. I also see no issue with this at all. If they want to change there own characters it's there choice. Sending Death Threats to a company over this is taking it way to far. And people need to accept it and move on. Nothing to get so upset over. These bronies need to act like adults instead of children over these changes. It makes me feel like I'm not part of the group if I disagree with them. But I'll just ignore them and live my life as I'm doing now and not care.

The funny thing is I bet the little girls that watch this show won't care nearly as much about Twilight becoming an alicorn as these "grown" men do. They'll probably be like "Ooh! Twilight Sparkle looks pretty with wings!"

Really, it's kinda funny yet kinda sad how seriously some people take this show. I enjoy MLP but it's hardly a major part of my life. Yes, I do have merchandise and I've done some fanart but for me, this is just a fun show that I watch on the weekends. The even funnier thing is that these little girls who are probably between three and nine years old act more maturely about this show than these Bronies who are in their late teens, twenties, thirties, whatever.

Grow up guys. Seriously. It's a good show but not worth revolving your entire life around.

To some people this show has changed there life's for the good. I also buy the merchandise if I have cash. But I think Twilight Sparkle is gonna look awesome with wings if they pull it off just right. I don't get into wars or fights with other bronies it's so not worth it. I also like the show and the meaning behind it. But I'm not a crazed fan like others are sending threatening letters in.

I understand that. This show's helped me in some ways too(it's made me a happier person). But I still don't think that calls for worshiping this show or bawwing over every little thing.

I also think that alicorn Twilight could be pretty good if done right. I just wonder what they'll do with her afterward.

It seems one major gripe people are making on it is that by making Twilight an Alicorn, it'll end the show. However, this is completely untrue. In fact, there have already been reports of Season 4 currently in the works. So, even though our beloved Twilight Sparkle will become a princess, it only means that she will have greater responsibilities now and will NEED the support of her friends to get through this life altering experience.

So, while it certainly won't end the show by any means, it will add new elements. However, new things added to a show is something that happens when it comes to shows that run more than one season these days. We have to respect the decision and stop making such a big deal about it. It's the writer's choice, and there is NOTHING we can do about that.

Anyways, on to the real reason I came on here, mainly to shift the subject onto something different.

I absolutely HATE the idea of Twilight becoming an alicorn. The show has been going downhill since Lauren left. I can't believe they'd just change the entire nature of one of the main characters like that. I'm not going to make any firm decisions before I actually see the episode (and a few episodes following it), but depending on how they handle this I might just have to stop watching ponies. It was fun while it lasted but I can't stand it when some bastard corporation ruins a good thing in the name of profit. Maybe they toys aren't selling well because they absolutely SUCK (they're not even realistic!) and the economy is absolute CRAP! And of course the fact that all the main characters aren't even in a single set. Most kids don't give a crap about Zecora or Granny Smith. They form a connection with one of the main characters that gets the most screen time. Besides, in this modern age there are a LOT better things for little girls to be doing other than playing with toys (like actually WATCHING ponies or doing pony things on the internet).

I hated how they just made Twilight's brother appear out of thin air like that. I think they handled it rather well, but it was a blatant attempt to make some sort of "wedding" toy set. Total BS. And to get another princess. And now that's not enough for them. Rather than pull a new princess out of their ass, they'll just make Twilight into a princess and totally fuck the storyline. I can only hope the writers can somehow make this realistic and not bomb out. Or better yet, I hope this is temporary.

Well Looking forward to the season finale episode. And even tho season 3 wasn't good by any means it sucked actually. But I'm glad I saw the 11 episodes so far. And I hope the season finale is actually good and not crappy.
