The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Okay, I've just watched the first several episodes and all I have to say is...

HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS UNTIL SEVERAL DAYS AGO?!?!

Seriously, it's been quite a while since I've ever watched a cartoon that had humor I could laugh at. I think what I really like though is that the creators made it enjoyable even to those who have never liked the MLP series.

This is coming from a guy who loves to play Mature rated shooters like "Dead Space" or "Call of Duty" and watch R rated horror and action films. I can honestly say that I feel absolutely no shame at all about watching a series that is originally intended for a very young girl audience.

Short version, I think I have become a "Brony".

I'll keep watching so I can determine who my favorite characters are.

Welcome.  You may like to know, unless you already do, that there are 26 episodes of season 1 and 3 (so far) of season 2.  So there are lots of episodes for you to watch.

Oh, it's good that you feel proud to.
I am proud that my boyfriend is proud to be a brony. I showed it to him, not intending for it to happen...low and behold, he gets desktop ponies on his laptop.
He said that the ponies have clouded his mind over "things guys think about that they shouldn't be thinking about", and that he could never be happier for it. My day was made.

And...

Buuut not only is Madam Foster there, but look who's in the window above her!
And...there's actually a conductor in the train engine. What happened to a bunch of Earth ponies pulling the train itself?

In all honesty, I saw this coming :DD

*Sigh* I drank chocolate milk twice after watching this episode and wanted to drink the glass itself. Discord, what have you done to me D: !?

I guess my main problem with the episode is that the ending sort of feels like a cop out.  Especially with the fact that Celestia didn't punish Twilight for what she did to practically all of the residents of Ponyville.  If you ask me, she was being rather soft there.

I guess that may be proof she does play favorites.

Though in season 1 Twilight let Snips & Snails off pretty light for what they did.

Yeah Twilght Sparkle is The teachers pet. So she felt bad and didn't punish her. And I thought the episode was okay not great. I had some issue's with it. Like I think she should have been punished. The way she freaked out over nothing was childish. And I didn't like how her friends didn't help her. So this episode was a 5
4/10 from me.

Although the ending is pretty much a cop out, I do feel like it opens up new opportunities due to the fact that her friends can now also do friendship reports. In Season 1, we all got it from Twilight's Perspective (1 Pony), but now, we have the whole Mane Cast, and possible the CMC's? (6+ ponies). That's an even wider range of possibilities for the future. Seeing them from another pony's perspective other than Twilight's.

Also, do you know what you get when you watch Ed Edd n Eddy right after Season 2 Episode 3 and staying up until 1:47 AM in the morning gives you? THIS...

I need some shut eye... :lol

I am watching and rewatching the episodes on YouTube to try and pick out every detail I want to talk about. But I ekpt on getting distacted by all sorts of other stuff (A.K.A. Insane Twilight). That's why I stayed up so late. I will probably have the thing up in the morning or afternoon, depending when I wake up.

Okay.  I think crazy Twilight is the creepiest thing I've ever seen.  She went even more crazy than Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy combined!  I think I'm going to have nightmares tonight.
