I just watched the latest Atop the 4th Wall Episode, and the comic being reviewed had a weird dragon hybrid of sorts on the cover. The comments below revealed this to me...

Dragon + Unicorn = Kirin

So yeah, anyone trying to prove the Spike + Rarity relationship not happening just because you believe they wouldn't be able to have kids, consider yourselves beaten by Chinese Mythology. This is a mythical land of creatures after all, or did the multiple episodes that have mythical creatures not prove that already?

However, it was already beaten by the fact that you don't need to be able to have kids to have a long-lasting and loving relationship with your partner. At least this beats the thought all together and not seem like an idea the writers pulled out of nowhere in the first episode. It now seems like a legitimate possibility to me more than ever before.

Just something I thought you guys might like to know. That's all.

Actually, from what I heard, the kirin isn't half dragon/half unicorn. It's simply the chinese version of the unicorn or something.

Well, Season 3 is still confirmed to only have 13 episodes. It looks like that will be the end from where I'm standing.

I'm not too worried yet about season 3 being the end. The show is still going very strong and the love it's been getting doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Now Jayson says they're still working on season 3. That most likely means they're still working on the later half of the season. As for why they're being so secret about all this, my guess is there's probably going to be a big surprise in season 3. I don't know, that's just my theory.

The 13 episodes may mean that's all they've finished. From what I've heard of folks who have worked in animation they normally work on more then 1 episode at a time. One may be in the script writing, another in voice recording, story boarding, ect.
