Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

While I don't follow it, "Caodao" refers to a Vietnamese religion. Ironically, I know little of it. I just chose the name because it sounded cool and because some of my oldest friends were Asian. I don't know if that second reason makes any sense, but there you go. The "2" part was thrown in because that name was chosen elsewhere a lot. I think I tired to use just plain "Caodao" in some places, but it didn't work because someone else had taken it.

So that's the story about the name in a nutshell. :)

Petra is a variant of the Greek name "Petros" meaning "strong" or "rock." Andi is a variant of the Greek name "Andy" meaning "masculine" or "brave." Therefore, I am tremendously brave and strong! :lol
