He's spent WEEKS on this, and making the nest bigger doesn't really address the matter. by their own tradition, the two birds cannot share the nest. so what we are going to do today is announce the kings ruling and enforce it.'
you have a good heart my dear' Nuteri said coming up to them. he had heard most of the discussion from where he had been seated. 'but in this case sentiment doesn't really apply. the birds must be seperated, and frankly, i'm surprised that the king didn't do this weeks ago..

Damon was surprised. "You mean she hasn't told you yet?" He asked them. " Told us what?" Pumbaa asked. Damon sighed. Makaila was going to kill him, but he figured they deserved to know. " Back when it was just her and me, she told me her Birth Pride had all sorts of stupid Traditions like Makaila had to bow to her own father and talk to him like she was one of his subjects, or that they never once told her that they loved her, or that she was never allowed to play, because they said royalty do not play. She was a princess first and foremost and a daughter never. Her whole life was dictated by traditions, even after her pride was forced to become Nomads." Damon said. "And all this talk about Tradition this and Tradition that Probally made her remember all that stuff." He explained to them.

Her pride took tradition too far then" kopa said watching the young lioness head out from pride rock. " I mean bowing to your own parents, when you are royalty? that's ridiculous. I understand having her learn the rules and traditions of the pride, but to only focus on that, and not give her the freedom to be a cub, and play around? i couldn't see myself doing that."
- I agree" Nala said " which is why your father and I let you play around while you were with us, as brief as that was,and we did the same with Kiara.. which is how she met Kovu in the first place.. We won't go into all that happened after that,you understand, my son. we don't want the past to be a constant topic, its not something Kovu wants to re-live over and over again."

Yes well For now, I'm going to go off for a light run " Kopa said stretching and walking down the rock towards the bottom. in a minute or so the crown prince was off at a good pace heading for the watering hole.

Nuteri gave the king a nod and slowly walked down the slope.. "You will be a grandfather someday soon, sire, and we're not talking one cub here, you will have plenty of them to spoil" He laughed. "Love gives many gifts sire, remember that, ha ha.' Nuteri chuckled as he finished walking away.

Although part of him wanted to stay with Makaila, he knew she'd be better alone til she calmed down. " Count us in too Simba." Timon said as he got on top of Pumbaa. "Geez I don't know Timon, I really don't like these kind of Interventions." the warthog said. " Pumbaa, my corpulant compodre, it's not a intervention, it's an eviction, completely different." His Meerkat Passenger explained. "Oh OK." Pumbaa said. Damon laughed at the two, not a mocking or cynical laugh, but a genuine laugh.

You know Simba, Kiara and I have been having long discussions about having Cubs" Kovu grinned Simba turned and stared at him, and Kovu's grin began to widen.." Are you serious Kovu? Simba said.. " " simba nodded " I wasn't expecting Simba junior anyway although it would have been very touching to do that. its your cubs you can name them as you wish.. just don;'t call them Taka..
- Actually thats what I called Kopa for a few years as a nickname until I found out what it means " nuteri chuckled " Trash... so I had to change it.. poor lad.. insulting him without meaning too.." Nuteri cackled with laughter.. "do you have any ideas for names Lady Kiara? he asked her..

"Girl names you haven't thought of yet huh?" Nuka asked.

Although the issue was long settled, Simba still felt guilt over the misunderstanding with Kovu.

We are lucky to have two wonderful kids, simba never had a brother or sister remember.. course neither did I.
