Well, my update for my site is coming along smoothly. (More or less.) When finished, the movies and TV Series pages shall have a "Buy it" option included that will lead to a place where people can buy it in the chance they want a legal copy.  However, I currently can only successfully find English Versions, and I think you guys know where this is going, right?

The sad truth is that I only know English and, I'm being dead serious about this, I know NOTHING with other languages.  As such, if I went to a site that was in a completely different language, I'd be lost for sure.  So, I need help hunting down the other language versions out there, so that those that want it in their native tongue rather than English can buy them in said language.

The only recommendation I'm giving is to go to a site that constantly gets more legal copies.  That way, I can be sure that said site won't be out of them.

Seriously guys, I need the help here.

Thanks in advance.

See ya later!

I've found that a few of the later LBT films have other language options, but it's very limited choice (Not even the usual choices, like French, Spanish and German, it's stuff like Polish and Hungarian), but I dunno about the TV series. If I find any of the DVDs of the show, I'll keep an eye out for language options.

Allicloud, LBT movies have been translated into every European language. Much more than can be found on a single DVD. For example, the Croatian DVD offers English, Croatian and Slovene. No mention of Spanish or French.

The TV series isn't as widespread, though.

^Yes, but first he must know how "The Land Before Time" is called in a particular language. And finding that out isn't as easy as it seems.

I'm not sure if this helps, but I believe that there was a thread on LBT in different languages: click me

I got a webstore which sells the dutch land before time movies (tv series never got translated). PM me if you want to know the address. I got my own movies from there and it's a reliable shop with legit copies :)

Dutch: Platvoet en zijn vriendjes
French : Le petit dinosaure

Doesn't Google Translate translate on the fly?  Meaning type something in English into Google and it will translate into another language?  Or is that another plugin I'm thinking of?

^ Yep, that's Google Translate. But the problem with that plugin is that it's not always accurate, especially for things like movie titles. The Land Before Time isn't always called "The Land Before Time". For example, if you use Google Translate for "The Land Before Time", the Chinese result is: 土地在时间之前, which means "Land comes before time". The Land Before Time is actually called 小脚板走天涯 in Chinese, which translates closest into something like: "Littlefoot explores the world."

So yeah, Google Translate isn't always accurate. My friends found out the hard way when they were too lazy to write a French essay.

I found a place where you can buy LBT movies in Croatia. The TV series hasn't been dubbed and is not available. Now I'm doing the same for Bulgaria. Found tons of places where you can download LBT movies and 12 TV episodes, all dubbed in Bulgarian (the other 14 are nowhere to be found...). I haven't found a store that  sells LBT yet. The next countries on my list are Romania and Italy.

online DVD rental for Serbia (they use the Croatian version)

(type "Zemlja daleke pro…losti" in the search engine)

Slovene:

Deûela preteklosti (alternatively Deûela pred Ëasom)

book store

Italian:

Alla ricerca della Valle incantata

In Romania and Bulgaria LBT is not regularly available. In Bulgaria the 8th movie is the easiest to find (2-3 copies), in Romania the 8th and 12th movies. Fans will most likely have to resort to torrents.

LBT title in Russian is: "«ÂÏ”? ƒÓ Õ‡˜‡”‡ ¬?ÂÏ“". I'll look for a reliable place to order Russian copies from once i'm back to Moscow. That'll be Monday, next week.

No can do!  It's too much of a risk to stream the movies.  However, I will provide any reviews or commentaries of said movies that I come across.  The trailers shall also stay.

If people really want to see said movie, they will have to buy it, bottom line.

Yeah I hear you on that. It's very risky right now. Or you can get Netfilx and get the movies that way. It's like 16.99 or 15.99 a month for three movies at a time. And it's unlimited.
