Back in the 1950s, animation was expensive.  Everyone was looking for a way to cut corners back then to save as much money as possible.  Hanana-Barbara's secret was "The Collar".

Yeah I know it was I saw and watched a video that back a while ago that a Animated 6 minute cartoon costed like a few thousand dollars. And a nice video you posted. He was a fantastic Animator.
