Mr. Bigmouth had gotten a flash drive from the technicians containing all the data they were able to recover. He templed his hands as he read the information on the console. A few garbled sentences were recovered from the message media: "Chong...to Weyard...seeking..."; "Some workers...cooperating with him..."; "...Ph...nix on T...Weyard."

Stripetail's books nor the starcharts mentioned such a location. Luckily, the travel logs were mostly intact and it showed that the message pod had been launched both recently and relatively close.

Mr. Bigmouth then sent a superluminal transmission to Briggins. "Briggins, this is Bigmouth. I request information on a location known only as 'Weyard'. Bigmouth out."

He then cut the transmission and sighed. At the distance they were from Earth, it might take Briggins at least a week to get the transmission and then four days for the response to reach him (the Earth-based transmitter that Briggins would be using was far more powerful than the one aboard the Spire of Winter).

Seeing as the delay could let Chong escape, he decided to let Stripetail know what he had found out. He pressed the transmit button on the console and spoke into the microphone.

"Stripetail, this is Bigmouth. I have analyzed the contents of the message pod. It appears that the message pod was sent quite recently. The time and travel stamps show that it was launched between one and two weeks ago and very close -- less than a light-year away. In fact, looking at the travel logs, I dare say that it was launched while the ship is in the same system as we are.

"That said, the contents of the message media are badly damaged and only some fragments could be recovered. I have analyzed the fragments and deduced that Chong had been heading to a planet called Weyard searching for something -- what that is, I do not know. In addition, some of the Phoenix's crew seem to be cooperating with Chong. Finally, the ship appears to be on Weyard. As to its location, all that I know is that the name of the location starts with a 'T'

"In addition, I have sent a superluminal transmission to Briggins for more information on Weyard as your books nor the good captain's starcharts mention such a place. However, it will take almost two weeks to receive a reply from Briggins."

the universe is full of worlds and planets Bigmouth ' Stripetail replied ' even in my lengthy existence i have only visited a small fraction of all there is to see. Chong presumably wants something on Weyard to either protect himself from us,or harm us. or even both. if we weren;t having to compete in the sumo tournament for supplies, we could try and track down this planet, unfortunately. it is likely we will be here for at least a few weeks, longer, if our team does well. thats the problem with being hard up for supplies and parts. i'll go look through my records and see if i can find anything..

Another miner got up to go to the bathroom.

Ms. Swimmer was engaged in a practice sumo bout with another superheavyweight. She grunted as she dug her heels against the massive Rhino.

"You can do this!" Doctor Kerzach shouted.

"Give it up!" the Rhino grunted as he tried to push Ms. Swimmer out of the ring.

"No." With a mighty roar, Ms. Swimmer slammed her open palm into her opponent's chest with such force that he actually staggered backwards. She then burst forward and gave her opponent a mighty shove.

The crowd held its breath as the Rhino teetered on one foot. And then the crowd went wild as he fell out of the arena.

Ms. Swimmer offered a handprint and her name to an eager child. Small presents of food and other items were given to her as was tradition.

"Okay, keep 'em coming!" Captain Carson was at the Spire of Winter where a small convoy of food was being delivered.

She watched as a repulsorsled laden with daikon radishes hovered into the air and flew above a dune buggy pulling a cart filled with 55 gallon drums of roasted sesame seed oil.

Captain Carson pulled out her radio as she watched the convoy file into the great starship. She scowled as her PDA alerted her to the fact that two mana shipments and a metal shipment had gon missing. "Stripetail, this is Captain Carson. Two shipments of mana and a shipment of metal have gone missing. Can you spare some of your personnel to search for them?"

Joe was glad they had stopped at the bench to sit for a while.

you do know we have 18 more holes to go Samia said to Dulcy as dulcy looked over her putt. dulcys ball was a on a slope above the hole, while Samia was in a bunker. both were on their third shot.' still if i make it we're almost certainly tied, not bad considering i was 10 shots back at 1 point..'Dulcy said yeah you pulled some shots out of your tail, and .. well i missed some shots badly.Samia said' i'm farther away so i' go first"

"Copy that. I'll be meeting them with an armed repulsorsled." Captain Carson headed up the ramp and was soon piloting a repulsorsled with a machine gun mounted on the bed. This machine gun did not require a gunner; it was controlled by the pilot via a head mounted display that looked remarkably like a pair of sunglasses.

The sled's engine whined as Captain Carson accelerated to Mawashi's amusement park where Stripetail had said Tiger and Tigress were meeting her.

One of the miners bought over bowls of potato chips and cups of water for the players.

"Ouch." Deimos said as he watched Doctor Kerzach get quite literally thrown out of the ring. Unfortunately, he was thrown so hard that he missed the soft foam pads and landed on the packed dirt...which was unfortunately as hard as concrete.

Doctor Kerzach staggered to his feet and swore profusely as he saw his left arm dangling at an odd angle. With his good hand, he activated the radio on his belt.

"Stripetail, this is Kerzach, I'm heading to Ozai Sumo Medical Center. My arm and a few of my ribs are busted. Kerzach out." Ozai Sumo Medical Center was one of the most well renowned hospitals on Mawashi, specializing in Sumo medicine and nutrition.

Tigress captain Carson has requested volunteers to go after some missing supplies, and i've volunteered you and tiger for the job.Stripetail said through the ring " dont worry, starting tomorrow you can spend as much time as you like with Dixie, as you'll be staying in her heya.."

Dixie smirked at her, Tigeress leaned in and kissed Dixie briefly on the lips then turned and ran off to the entrance of the amusement park., where she found tiger waiting. ' good you're here' tiger said.' we're supposed to helping the captain with something or so the wizard said. flash is with Spyro and Cynder. they've agreed to help watch her for a bit.' Oh. i thought dixie was going to watch her. Nope, roped the dragons into sitting fir awhile.' you mean our teammates and not the Skylanders right?' yep out trusted hero dragon and his girlfriend.' tiger said.

Especially with big tournaments coming up and thus practices getting more intense for some really devoted sumos, the Ozai Medical Center was getting the most related to the sport injuries this time of year.

the panda king was beginning his training regime, using his girth and strength to plow into the training dummy he had bought. his paws moved rapidly, glowing with energy and purpose.
