"Good thing we got away!" Deimos said as he watched the Owls swoop down.

Dr. Zanasiu sighed. "Deimos, alert Stripetail and the others."

Ms. Swimmer flicked her wrist, transferring her cane to her hands. She took a defensive stance.

Deimos pulled out his radio. "Stripetail, this is Deimos. There are Owls swooping down and snatching inhabitants. What are our orders for this situation? Over."

Mr. Bigmouth stuck the slip into his messenger bag. "Thank you."

He then met up with Twilight and Spike. "Enjoy the exhibits?" he asked.

Drive them away and defend yourselves, as best you can.. we do not yet know their intentions, until we do, refrain from shooting to kill, unless they proven evil or are under orders from mertavius..' Stripetail radioed back..

"Copy that. Deimos out." He looked at the two. "All right; we drive them away but we don't kill them." He then muttered, "Much as I'd like to."

Ms. Swimmer batted away an Owl trying to snatch a young child. "Get into a building!" she ordered.

Dr. Zanasiu, as he didn't bring his gun with him, resorted to grabbing rocks from the decorative garden amd throwing them at the Owls.

Captain Carson had exited the female's bathroom. Much to her shock, she saw a large crowd bolting for any building with a roof and door.

She pulled out her radio. "Stripetail, this is Captain Carson, we need to evacuate immediately; some sort of disó" Captain Carson could say no more as an Owl snatched her up. She reached for her pistol and pressed it against the Owl's side.

"Put me down or I'll shoot!" she shouted.

"Yes, we can do it together. Be sure to grab anybody they drop." Sara said before she went after one of the owls.

Spike nodded, "I am. It is nice to see new places." He said. He looked around. "Do you hear something?" He asked the others.

"Something is going on outside." Joe said trying to look outside through a window. The others did also.

"We gotta go outside to see if we can help." Gomamon said.

"it's safer in here." Joe said.

"There's lots of panic outside." Jason said. He reached into a pocket and passed an spd morpher to Joe. "here, if you need it. This is how you use it." He said and sent Joe a quick telepathic info so he would know how to use it. Then they started outside. Jason used a bit of his telepathic ability so folks would move around them in their panic to get inside and farther into the building, still in a panic but giving them room to get outside quicker.

- kopa grunted, he was not used to wearing the armor, ' prefer brute strength thank you very much' he said as the owl kept attacking.

tiger and tigeress ran through the crowds, as the fairgoers were looking for any sort of safe haven.
- ratchet pulled out his blaster and looked for a good vantage point..

Kiara, Vitani, and the male lions were doing what they could to fend off the owl attacks.

"We can't shake them!" Vitani frowned.

"Kovu! Double team!" Kiara called to her mate, as a signal for a combined move the two could do very well.

"Help!" Fox cried as one of the owls managed to snatch her in their talons

kovu ran over to kiara ' ready when you are' he grinned..
skunk was spraying out his stink to protct himself, stitch was riding on an owl, much to the owls dismay, and angel was singing an owl sleep on the ground.. scooby created a golf club with his ring and started swinging it at the birds..
- dulcy and samia flew after the birds near the roller coaster, these birds were NOT used to dragons

- hunch had to avoid getting roasted by a fireball from samia.. down below, well lets just say it was bedlam, and not the good kind..

"Ready," Kiara grinned. She and Kovu held paws, and began to spin around very fast. The twister of lions would knock back anything they ran into, as one poor owl figured out.

The owl who grabbed Fox decided to take what he could get and headed back for the Duke's lair.

tiger froze a pair of owl in a blizzard blast, and tigeress shoot green lightning at them.. run our fun day will you she said.. as the owls decided to cut thier losses and head back with the 4-5 victims they had grabbed, including rabbit and fioox..
retreat' hunch yelled, just avoisding a one two combo from the dragonesses behind him, and the enemies below.. hunch blanched ' right his only goal was getting back to the duke in one piece...

Sara used a spell to freeze one of the owls and her breath to set another afire, catching both would be victims and landing with them, casting a quick invisibility spell over them both as they ran off. Not a long term one but perhaps long enough to get them away from there.

"Time for the real fun." Brooklyn said.

"It's time to morph." Jason said as some of them assembled into the usual formation and took out their morphers. Guilmon and Gomamon morphed to their next forms during this.

"Flyers take off. We'll focus on hitting the owls, you on defense and landing with folks." Jason said. He had morphed into what looked like a cross of a 50's sci-fi type and old west gunslinger type. He took out both ray gun looking pistols and put them together as he said, "Blaster Rifle." he said, both guns glowing briefly as they changed into one blaster rifle. He took aim and shot at an owl that Gnash was near.

Ikkakumon fired off his harpoon torpedo horn as Growlmon launched his Pyro Blaster.

Ms. Swimmer and Deimos caught a child one of the Owls dropped after he was hit by a rock thrown by Dr. Zanasiu.

Captain Carson had her gun taken away by another Owl and unceremoniously thrown over. She looked down and cursed. True, she had a knife with her but f she killed the Owl, she'd sustain fatal injuries from the fall.

Said pistol landed near Stripetail. Unfortunately, it wasn't drop tested for falling over 200 feet, so it discharged anround that harmlessly buried itself in a tree.

The two dismounted and laid eyes on what was clearly battle damage. He turned to Sara. "Sara, what happened here?"

"Some owls flew in and grabbed some people and flew off." Sara said, casting a quick illusion spell to go along with what she said to show what happened as well as what the owls looked like.

"Not sure if that is a common occurrence here." Sara said.

"Maybe they want to use them as slaves, like the Diamond Dogs do." Spike said remembering an incident they had had with diamond dogs before.

Jason and the others gathered near where the others seemed to be gathering.

"If we'll be attacking their strongholds you may need to use this on Gomamon." Jason said reaching into a pocket and handing Joe a silver sphere.

"What does it do?" Joe asked.

"Basically it'll remove him from this time frame till his digivolutions have all finished then put him back. Will let Gomamon, or Guilmon go through all his digivolution stages in what would look to you like less then a tenth of a second. All you'll see is maybe a silver flicker then he'll be in his final stage already. I didn't use them earlier since it didn't look like we'd need that level of power and it would be waste using one when it's not really needed."

"Cool, it'll be just like warp digivolving." Gomamon said. "I've seen others do it but never could myself."

"It's fun." Guilmon said.

"HOw did you get it?" Joe asked.

"I have a friend who ... makes one occasionally. It's 6th, or 7th dimensional magic." Jason said.

'dont you guys have a ship? Angela asked " aphelion is docked inside the ship.. ' we;d have to get her undocked ' Ratchet said,. come on' he said. the two lombaxs took off towards the Spire of Winter.
