A brilliant flash of white light blinded everyone. When their vision cleared, Captain Carson was in her normal form. Deimos quickly extracted her from the net.

The woman shook her head. She pulled out her radio. "Spire of Winter, this is Captain Carson, what is your status? Over." She released the transmit button and waited for a reply.

Mr. Bigmouth had the shield and flashbang ready in case things went bad. He looked at Stripetail.

"We're doing good," Aimee reported back to Carson. "Just waiting for everyone to get back. We've hired a guide ship, the S.S. Mercenary, they claim they can take us to Skylands, though they warn the trip will be incredibly dangerous. They won't talk to Shakila and I since we're not commanders; we're meeting them tomorrow at a neutral location for fund transfer.."

cynder flew on by herself, trying to not let her mind return to spyro. he was her partner, and mate, they had made it official while scooby and dixie were participating in the games. there werent that many other dragonesses in warfang, ember was about the only one her age, and cynder thought she was a bit of a flake. still when theres only two dragonesses, you're kinda stuck if you want a girlfriend. cynder tried to focus her mind on other things, as thinking about ember wasnt helping her mood.

"I think I need a shower and a rest." Gnash said resting as best as he could while standing.

"I think you're not the only one." Brooklyn said, feeling a bit tired himself after all the battling they had done.

They took off, Sara flying with the other dragonesses that she had flown there with.

we have to wait here until eon receives word from stripetail that hes received his message' Nick replied to vertigo " say, can you create food with your magic?' He asked hopefully ' because well anything would be better than these emergency rations..

Captain Carson's radio buzzed. "Captain Carson, this is Chief Engineer Gibel. We ran into an unforseen complication. It seems that one of the dispersion coils on the slipspace drive has burnt out. The ship's onboard factories are currently nanolathing a replacement. We can still take off but we cannot go superluminal. The fuel tanks are partially filled thanks to the ground crew but we'll need to deploy robot ramscoops to harvest additional fuel from the nearby gas giant."

"Acknowledged. Carson out." The captain then turned to Stripetail. "Bad news, the slipspqce drive's needs a new part. It'll be a few hours. We can still take off but we can't jump to hyperspace."

The Duke stood on the side of one wall in the ship, humming to himself.

"What is his issue?" Khan asked the seer, not understanding why that one being was angry at him

everyone soon reached the Spire of winter and climbed aboard.. kopa decided to give his siser and brother-inlaw some personal time and told them to go do things as a couple. ' we're going to the beach ' he smirked.
