Agumon And Agumina Signed up as a team, and Scooby and Dixie joined them to fill out the 4 maximum. Stitch teamed up with Tiger, Tigeress and Flash as another team. Ratchet, Clank, Angela and Angel formed another.

' Well, the alley is called a lane, the intent of the game is to knock over as many pins as you can. there are a total of 100 pins, and you get 2 rolls to try and knock them all down." Kiyo said. " if you knock down all 100 pins in one go, its called a strike and you get 3 times the points, or 300. each turn is called a frame, and there are 10 frames in the game.the highest possible score is 3000, if there is a tie in score at the end, we'll add on extra frames until one team wins. although its unlikely to end up in a tie.'

"Sorry we're late," Captain Carson said.

At the same time, Mr. Bigmouth pulled his repulsorsled up into the designated spot. He hopped out. "So what's going on now?"

"Bowling." Deimos leaned against Mr. Bigmouth's sled.

Mr. Bigmouth watched as a Mawashian took a running start, leapt onto the bowling lane and rolled into a ball as thundered down the lane. The pins went flying as he slammed into the formation. In fact, he hit the pins so hard that one of them actually bounced off the repulsorsled's windshield.

Mr. Bigmouth picked up the pin. It was very light -- barely one pound. He placed it on the ground.

Captain Carson stretched her limbs. "Well, I guess my group will join. We'll be Team Winter -- after the starship.

The five sped over the grassy plains of Weyard as they headed to Belinsk. Thanks to a map they had brought from a Tonfonese fisherman, they knew exactly where they were going.

Cooper' Sly grinned. me, carmelita, Panda king and Jing. Bentley will keep score for us.
Very well stripetail said magicking two more ball into existence " stripetail gestured and balls began bouncing around. before one rolled out ' first match will pit Team Cooper, against Team Veldin. You'll bowl on the far rows to the left. next Match will pit.. team pridelands against team Kissing Crushers. Kiyo and Shoukirchi will go twice to make up for the lions having 4 members.you'll bowl on the next two lanes. Third match will have Team Winter facing team Dragons. you'll be on lanes 5 and 6. and the final pairing will be Team Digiworld against team Monster World. on lanes 7 and 8.

Kopa ran up and curled himself into a ball as best he could, and plowed into the pins, knocking over 62.

Captain Carson smiled. "Here goes!"

As her body could not roll into a ball, she opted to try another method. She took several steps back and charged full-speed into the lane. Just before she got past the border, she dropped into a slide like a baseball player.

and he ran forward into a roll, knocking down 45 pins. Ratchet knocked over 55 in his first turn.
-Kiyo knocked over 80 in her first roll. " 20 to go, not bad , not bad " she smiled.

Captain Carson took a few more steps back and charged. Upon reaching the line, she dropped into a slide. She then shifted her body so that she was oriented horizontally in an attempt to take out as many pins as possible. Luckily, her uniform was capable of absorbing the impact.

Mr. Bigmouth sipped the tea. It was a rather pungent green tea that was traditionally given to the contestants prior to a sumo match. He swirled the emerald green liquid and took a sip.

Captain Carson slid into the mats at the end of the bowling alley. As she picked herself up, her radio buzzed.

"Captain Carson here," she said. She nodded as the information reached her. "Permission granted. Carson out."

She then turned to Stripetail. "Commander, Captain Fairchild and his flight have discovered several areas of the planet that are rich in resources that we need. However, they are in extremely hostile areas. One of them is very rich in deposits of mana. Two others are mineral-rich. The third is rich in fuel for our starship. Are there any volunteers to assist in the establishment of temporary mining bases?"

"Define 'hostile'." Deimos turned around from his position at the starting line.

"Unbreathable atmosphere, extreme temperatures and intense volcanic activity."

"F--- that!" Deimos took a few steps back and leapt onto the lane and began his slide.

The Resource Officer, a tall dark-skinned woman turned to the gathered group in Winterville Auditorium. Twilight Sparkle was listening. The mare wanted to volunteer so she could see new places but the work seemed extremely dangerous. And she had no knowledge of what to do.

"All right, Captain Carson has given me permission to establish temporary mining camps to gather needed resources." She brought up data the planes had gathered. "The lands we will be working on are the mana rich one and the volcanic land. Robot ramscoops will be hauling fuel from the hydrogen ocean land."

She turned to the gathered crowd. "Do we have any volunteers?"

Getting into the Belinsk Museum wasn't too difficult. The locks on the rear entrance had been fortified to resist magical lock picking attempts as well as magically reinforced. Still, they were no match for a plasma pole cutter wielded by one of the servants.

"Quickly!" one of the men whispered as he held the cutting implement. His strength enhancing exoskeleton whirred as he looked around the dank basement.

The other servants were peering through half-opened crates and cabinets as theh looked for the Umbra Gear.

"Jackpot!" A servant pulled out a box that was labeled 'Umbra Cowl' from a crate filled with excelsior. She carefully placed it on the ground.

Spike waved his hand. "How about Twilight Sparkle and me. She can do all kinds of spells, what she doesn't know about magic isn't worth knowing, and a volcano is just a big swimming pool to me." Spike said remembering is time using some lava as a swimming hole with some teenage dragons. He was also hoping he could find some gems to eat, as well as helping those on the ship.

"I'm not magic, but they may need a medic and I know first aid & some basic medic stuff." Joe said. he was scared about going but some may need help.

"Great, I was feeling all cooped up in here. Nice to get out and stretch my legs." he said.

"if it be mimin you want I'm thinkin I should go along. being an earth shark and all. And a skylander. Dirt and rock is like water to me."

"You may need this." Jason said handing Joe what looked like a white cellphone.

"Thanks but I already have a cellphone." Joe Kiddo said.

"Cool, it's the same color I am." Gomamon said.

"it's also a Mystic force morpher, and you can dial up spells on it." Jason said putting the cellphone into Joe's hand. "Good luck." he said. He'd go but he wanted to be ready so he could pop up if he and guilmon were needed in certain places.

The Resource Officer nodded. "Okay, Spike. You'll be joining the volcanic mining team. Twilight, you'll be joining the mana mining team. Terrafin, you'll be joining the volcanic mining team. Joe, you'll be with the volcanic mining team."

"Wait!" Twilight exclaimed. "I want to accompany Spike."

"Sorry, Twilight but you're the only mage we have here. You'll need to help with the mana mining. Besides, if Spike is tough enough to use a volcano as a swimming pool, he'll be fine in this environment."

Twilight opened her mouth but realized that Spike was growing up; an independent assignment was good for him. Besides, the woman was right; Spike was incredibly hardy.

Several of the gathered crew left but there were still a good number left.

The Resource Officer looked over those remaining. "If there are no questions, this group is dismissed. Head over to the equipment room and suit up. The parameters of your assignment will be displayed on the terminal in the equipment room."

"Excuse me," Twilight said, raising her hoof. "Spike and I have very unusual body shapes compared to the rest of your crew. How will we deal with the equipment? And related to that, what equipment do we require?"

"Already dealt with. We nanolathed equipment specifically designed for your body types when you first arrived. Twilight, your assignment requires only a full-face oxygen mask with tinted lenses. Spike's assignment -- depending on his tolerance to volcanic dust and fumes -- may require a full-face gas mask."
