Qa'Meret nodded to Nicula. - "I am most ready to go and reach that new city in the map, it should be fun I hope."

"I'm Chaka. Thought you already knew all our names, guess I was wrong." She said smiling to Kyo in a friendly manner. She looked in the direction of the voices nodding. "it does indeed. We had best go get our stuff. Mine is in my room, is yours?" She asked him.

Kyo replied to Chaka. - "Well, the group has many people so I have been unable to try to remember all the names." - the kid then replied to the question. - "well, I kinda left all my stuff in the kitchen when I came here after my dragon-creature, so I should go get my stuff now too."

'Yea, you'd have to write the names down to remember everyone." Chaka said. "ok, I'll go and get my stuff then we can meet up with the others and leave together. Good luck." She said before she went to get her backpack and stuff, putting it on and making sure it was properly balanced and secured before she went to where some of the others were.

Ashnii had gathered her things and stood near Sed.

major league git ;' Dar maa muttered as the group headed out the bookstore and headed across town. towards the gates of the town. outside these gates was stairs which lead to the ground below..
' you have the map right John ? Nicula asked they reached the gate, which slowly opened before them..

as they group headed down the steps, a pungent smell began to reach thier nostrils. ' what is.. that awful smell? dar maa sniffed, water began to run from her eyes as it became more and more pungent.. ' it.. smells like a dead body' Jae said.. i've.. well.. killed before so i know what it smells like.. and well this one smells like its been there for a bit.. as the group continued down, the smell keot getting worse and worse

Nicula said as they finally reached the bottom of the stairs.. out along the side of the road stood a large pike. on it stood the bloodied head of a wolf.. as they approached, to her horror, nicula realized that wolf looked familar.. ' by the gods.. it.. its... ERIC!'
- Eric? No!" dar msaa yelled and ran over to the head.. a short distance nearby, lay the rest of erics body. it bore signs of being slashed and cut.. he had been decapitated. whether it had happened after death could not be determined.
- oh my gods' dru essa stopped as they looked over erics remains..

"I am going to get my stuff too, chaka, see you later!" - Kyo said to Chaka as he went back to the kitchen to find Qa'Meret, slowing down this time to avoid bumping into the grumpy-looking Dae. He waited for him to pass before going into the kitchen.

Qa'Meret looked to the kid, while holding the kid's backpack in his hand - "Nice to see you didn't get into problems... specially with that guy Dae..." - he sighs, and continued, speaking mainly to <Kyo and the others still there. - "some people have attitudes that I will never get to understand. But it's his nerves that'll get to kill him so that's not that bad, isn't it?" - after that, he gave the backpack to Kyo. "we are leaving now." - to that, the kid nodded.

sed nues helped nicula remove Erics head from the spike, and set it as close to the rest of his body as possible.. lets give him a good bburial, then say a few words of parting Sed Nues said. nicula 's face worked, in true she had been fond of the werewolf, and too lose him was a blow. unlikeDarman, who had been a loner and kept to himself, eric had been one of them..

- that includes all of us, you self-centered prat! Nicula said angrily ' you, included! show some decency for the first time in your life! wouldnt you want your remains buried with some dignity, some decorum? he was my friend, and he deserved better than what he got.. so, help us bury him.. and then we can say goodbye and move on..

Qa'Meret appeared with an extra shovel and helped Dru Essa digging a hole for Eric. - "I saw from the distance what happened, I'm sorry about your group's partner here, so I thought I would tell Kyo to stay in the bookstore before he saw any of this and came to help."

Kyo indeed remained in Sur's bookstore for the time being, but he figured what was happening.

Nicula and dar maa helped lower erics body into the hole, then began to cover him with dirt. the hole dug was 10 feet deep. deep enough to avoid bears and other wild animals from digging him up.. burying eric took about thirty minutes. sed nues piled up rocks near the head of the mound and waited for the others to finish//

Kyo looked back at Chaka. - "Sadly I don't have any money to pay for books, Qa'Meret is the one who has gold, so if we ever split I would have a rough time surviving around here." - he then smiled. - "... but I guess you already picked books for yourself?"

Qa'Meret was helping Nicula and Dar Maa to bury Eric's body. - "If this kind of things keep happening... well, it makes me want to reconsider the trip with your group, as you know I am trying to protect the kid in Sur's bookstore." - he said as he was finishing accomodating the stones over the grave.

Qa'Meret sighs. - "I hope you are right, least thing we need is more bad stuff happening, because I have always been an enemy of senseless bloodsheds." - he then stood up and went back to Sur's bookstore, taking him several minutes to reach his destination.

"You sure have picked a variety of books..." - Kyo said to Chaka. - "... I suppose you are good at handling herbs for potions? and alchemy is always so powerful and versatile because of all the things about it I have heard about." - the kid was indeed curious about this. But at that moment, Qa'Meret entered the bookstore.

"Miss Chaka? Kyo? it is time we rejoin the group." - he said before going to reach Sur. - "Mister Sur, your hospitality is as great as the variety of books you have, thanks for anything." - after that, he nodded to Kyo, who grabbed his backpack and went out of the store, then Qa'Meret reached Chaka. - "thank you for keeping him company, I just didn't want him to see what happened to that guy Eric. But we completed his burial now."
