The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

As the buggy approached the gates, John and Asanii exited and gazed upon the castle.

"Well, we're here." John mused.

Taloc calmly got out of his seat and walked out of the buggy. The woman watched him go with a suspicious squint. "... Say..."
Taloc stopped, and looked over his shoulder.
"... Are you compensating for something with that hammer?" She asked while jabbing a finger. Taloc sighed. "I have a feeling this won't be the last time we run into each other. I can't say why-- call it a hunch. Good bye, ma'am."
The woman didn't stop giving him the suspicious look. "Hmmph."
Taloc looked over to Kyo and asked if he needed any help with his luggage.

Qa'Meret and Kyo got down the buggy. The Khajiit then said - "Wow, even if this city does no longer have the past-glory, I must say the trip itself was still a nice one." - he then looked at the driver. - "thank you very much for such smooth trip."

In his common childish curiosity, Kyo started looking at all of his surroundings, but Taloc's voice snapped him from his gazing. - "Ehh... t-thank you mister. But my step-father would say I can carry this on my own, he is a Gaean Wolf and they always like to become stronger."

Qa'Meret then came closer and placed a hand on the kid's shoulder. - "Because of the trip, this luggage we both carry are heavy." - he looked at Taloc with a smile and then at Kyo again. - "but unless you fell on a well or something, I don't think you'll need another set of clothing, you'll be fine."

Kyo nodded and gave a shy smile tothe huge Orc. - "thank you Mister."

As the group disembarked the buggy, a lone male watched them from an alleyway.
"So, the rebels have come to our fair city, have they?  The king will want to know this...and when they're dead, that bounty will be mine..."
He chuckled a little as he turned and walked off down the alleyway.  However, before he got far, the shadows on the ground seemed to rise, forming walls that blocked his way before the Cloaked Figure rose out of the ground.
"You won't be doing any such thing..."
It hissed, a set of black tendrils encasing the man's legs, slowly pulling him into the ground, the shadow walls muffling his screams...

Chaka and Walker got out of the buggy with their stuff.

"I hope our visit goes here as well as the previous place we were at." Chaka said, looking around at the surroundings.

"Look not for trouble, it'll find you soon enough." Walker said.

Kyo was taking off part of his luggage as he accepted Taloc's help, but for a moment, Kyo's eyes glowed as he suddenly felt a presence. - "Wow, that was... strange." - he said mostly to himself.

"Is everything ok?" - Qa'Meret asked with curiosity.

But the kid just shook his head. - "No, I-I'm fine." - Kyo is always in a mix of shyness and to let himself be more impulsive with his actions, either as a normal kid or due to his unusually strong talent for magic.

He still can't fully understand that to be shy and quiet about the magical presences he can sense can become very dangerous if in a worse-case scenario.

Taloc saw the flash. He didn't say anything, but kept on smiling and watched as the boy picked up his bags. He tried to catch Qa'Meret's gaze to see if he noticed as well.

Qa'Meret was a soldier, now a minstrel, but he has never been sensible to magic, so he was unaware of those sensations Kyo and Taloc felt. - "Is everything ok, guys?" - the Khajiit asked both Taloc and Kyo.

"I am not sure, but I think is nothing for us to worry about." -  The kid said, but he looked at Taloc, waiting for his reply.

Chaka looked in the direction, feeling something but unsure what.

"Something stirred, was summoned or perhaps sent away.  To brief to feel exactly what." Chaka said.

"Brief indeed." Walker said having looked in the area.  "Not sure if it has any meaning to use or not.  If so we'll find out eventually." He shrugged, "if not we may never know."

"Maybe unrelated to us.  Maybe not." Chaka said.

Taloc's eyes wandered above the Kajit's head for a moment, then drifted over to Kyo. His lips bore an expressionless smile.
"... Of course. Nothing to worry about," Taloc said gently. "Why don't I at least help you with your luggage, little one? I can grab one side and you can grab another. It's an Orc thing-- we need to feel useful in every step of the journey."
His hand never left the haft of his hammer. In fact, as he spoke, his grip tightened a little.

Kyo nodded. - "Thank you very much, mister Taloc." - the Rabbit said as he allowed Taloc to grab one side of the luggage. - "I appreciate the help, because Qa'Meret have much more stuff to carry." - not to mention the kid already made two creatures that adds to the overall responsability for the kid.

Qa'Meret smiled at the situation, he then grabbed his own luggage and started walking inside the city, following Dru Essa and the others, he feels a relief that people is always wanting to protect the kid... that was always something that worried the Minstrel a huge lot when they started the travel.

"We may as well go in and see what's up." Walker said.   "Though be sure to be ready.  Never can know where or when danger will appear.  Just that it will find us sooner or later."

"Or we it." Chaka said.

Behind the group, the door slammed shut, revealing another wolf, one who looked similar to Eric, but this one was distinctly female, a fact evidenced by her absolute lack of a shirt and bare minimum covering of her lower body...
"What are you doing here?"
She growled...

Walker "I found myself on this world.  Akatosh asked me do something for him.  And you?" He asked, ready for combat with his hand near his main chakram, the balanced chakram, but not on it.

Qa'Meret gave a step forward. - "I think there should be no need for violence here." - he said to both Walker and the Wolf, he then looked at her. - "We mean no harm to you or anybody else here, so maybe if you calm down, then we will be able to talk." - he didn't want to prepare any of his weapons or to take a defensive stance, to give the Wolf a sense of honesty in the Khajit's words.

Kyo stood behind next to Taloc, but he knew he would have to quickly step aside to not interfere with the Orc if a fight starts.

Taloc scrunched his nose in annoyance. This she-wolf came it at a rather sensitive time. "Is there anything we can do for you, ma'am?" Taloc asked as politely as he could in his rusty voice. He felt no need to draw his hammer-- logically, if this wolf had wanted to attack them, she would have done so instead of asking them angry questions. Still, it was certainly odd seeing a woman walking around with even less clothes than himself.
'... I guess it'll need to wait, he thought as glanced to Kyo, and then back at wolf with his usual hideously overplayed smile.

drussila meanwhile had moved aghead of the rest of the group, and nicula folowed her. drussila opened a door at the end of the hallway, revealing the city enclosed within. city, in this case, was a very generous description. there were more tents than houses in the area, and here and there ill-dressed khajits walked to and fro, pushing carts and trying to make trade. ' it was a pitiful sight, and t caught Nicula by surprise. ' this place is nothing at all, like i was expecting..' she said " sacunmda has seen better days ' drussila said.. ' still its this unkempt appearance which keeps many away, even the prying eyes of the emperor. so, if you dont want  to be get noticed, this is the place..' she said.
