Longtail's face suddenly became serious and his eyes narrowed as he replied "Right, so should we tell the others, I don't just want to leave them here...so what do we do?"

"Oh! I didn't really mean that we should go after him, since I don't really know where he could be, but if we meet him on our road... he'll pay. For now, let's just focus on finding the Valley, shall we?" Dante said, trying to supress the darkness rising inside of himself...
"Besides, there's safety in numbers, so we should stick with the herd..."
Dante concluded.

Longtail's eyes softened but he nodded his head as he replied "You are right, there is safety in numbers, but if we get the chance to fight this sharptooth I won't hold back." Then a smile came across his face as he said "Well then I say we get going, the valley isn't going to come to us now is it?"

Longtail nodded, stood up and stretched his wings, and his tail, stood up and walked over to the others ready to wake them up and continue the journey.

Kaga joined the others as they ate breakfast and asked, "So, when do we leave? I want to put this wasteland behind me as soon as possible."
Kaga didn't like this place. He was tired of the journey nd wanted to get it overwith. He knew tht the monolith in the distance was some kind of landmark and from what Sy had said, it was only a two month trip from there.
The iguanodon ate a small breakfast as he was still fairly full from the previous night.

Strafe approached Dante and said in a gentle voice, "Um, hello there. I saw you last night but didn't get around to introducing myself. I'm Strafe. What is your name?"
She wanted to familiarize herself with everyone who she would be traveling with, especially since today would be the first *real* traveling toward the Great valley.

Snork already knew all he needed to know and ate silently while Strafe made her introduction. Though he had only known her for about a week, Snork had already come to like the iguanodon. He didn't want to admitt it though because he felt it would be humiliating.

The group set out.
"If we're lucky we'll reach the monolith by tomorrow evening. After that, the road gets a bit easier."

"Finally I thought you guys would never get ready!" said Longtail from the air, while doing acrobatic stunts. He then flew higher into the sky to act as lookout for the group.

Dante vaulted up onto one of the rocks nearby, jumped onto another one, and then took off, jumping from spire to spire and wall to wall. He was intent on scouting ahead, since his one eye was very acute. He landed on top of a spire and waited, searching the path ahead for danger...

Longtail saw Dante's numerous fets of agility, and dove down and said "You think that's good watch this!" He began to jump from spire to spire and using his tail for balace kept jumping off the spires and walls just having fun.
