Dante Grinned, and said...
"Pretty Impressive, Longtail. But just watch this!"
Dante ran at a wall, jumped onto it, ad ran up untill he reached the top, where he jumped off in a backflip, twisted in midair and did several somersaults before landing gently on the ground.

Longtail gave a whistle of approval and said "Nice. But watch this!" He then proceeded to spin in a circle three times (also called the spin-launch attack) launched himself into the air as high as he could, then he nose-dived down towards the side of a wall and just before impact, he lined his body up to be parallel to the wall and using his talons on his feet slid down the side, and at the last moment he jumped off and rolled to a stop standing upright and just fine....

"Ha, beat that!" he said with a triumphant grin.

"Hmmm... Well, I think that I might be able to top that... Let's take a look, shall we?" Dante asked as he leapt on the balls of his feet for a second, focusing his strength into the next trick....
"Shinken-Ryu Art! Aerial Dance of a Thousand Spiral Wings!"
Dante leapt onto the wall that Longtail had attacked, launching himself along it for a ways before shooting himself into the air, where he performed a series of spinning kicks and tail swipes at an imagined opponent, then landed into a handstand-style spinning split kick, before rolling to his feet and dusting himself off, saying coolly...
"How was that?"

Longtail was getting tired from competing with Dante, and then had a thought which he voice immediately "While this is fun Dante, we are bound to meet at least two sharpteeth on our way to the valley...when that time comes I'll show you my best move!" he said inbetween gasps of air.

Dante responded, breathing a little heavily.

Longtail thought about it for a moment and said "Well when I was nose diving down through the air I did see a small bridge which wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't hanging over a large river of fire water! Looks like we've just hit the first challenge in the quest to find the valley huh?"

Longtail ran after Dante while saying "Now that's a good idea." 'Provided the bridge doesn't decided to fall apart on us while we cross it.' Longtail said to himself not wanting to worry Dante.

"One of them is going to hurt themselves if they keep showing off like that." said Strafe to Snork.
The swimmer replied, "I'm sure they know what they are doing. Here they come. Let's see what they found."
With that, Snork approached the two scouts and asked, "What is it like ahead? "

Longtail slowed down from running and replied "Well, we have a very small bridge to cross, and a lot of fire water under it, so let's just hope that bridge can hold our weight."

Upon leading the group to the edge of the bridge over the fire water Longtail asked a very simple question..."So who goes first?"

Kaga looked at the bridge and got an uneasy feeling. He didn't like the idea of having to cross it but it looked like the only way. The iguanodon waited for Dante to get across.
Kaga then asked, "Alright, should I go next or would someone else like to go?"

Sy crossed quickly, eyeing the lava below them nervously.
"Last time I had to deal with that stuff, I lost the last two feet of my tail. I'd suggest we move along quickly, before something goes wrong."

Longtail then spread his wings and actually jumped off the cliff edge letting his wings catch the thermal heat and give him an areal burst....He was now high enough to see a new problem. As he landed over by Dante his face was solemn as he said "This is only the beginning of our troubles."
