"This is really bad..." Swifty said seeing Grandpa Longneck leaving

"Very bad... what if one of these other adults mistaken us for fast biters..." Leafty said and both cringed with fear then look around for some cover then they saw a set of caves near.

"There!" both said at once pointing at the same thing. then they head right for it not knowing it was the serect caverns that Ruby and Chomper stay at. They quickly run to keep to the deep growth of plants and soon arrive at it both standing at the mouth of the cave.

"Do you think there could be someone living here?" Swifty asked his sister

"Could be, best if we just wait here?" Leafty looked at Swifty he nods

"Yeah I think that be a good idea" Swifty and Leafty sits down by the cavern entrance to wait for a few moments to see anyone show up.

Ruby and Chomper yawned and headad back to the caves a few minutes before Leafty and Swifty showed up. Ruby and Chomper were just drifting off to sleep when Chomper saw a shadow of what looked like two fast biters. But he smiled as his eyes adjusted and he saw they were the two fast runners from before. Ruby and Chomper appeared at the cave enterance. "UHHHHHHHH hello can we help you with something? You are more then welcome to stay with us here if you need a place to spend the night." Ruby said to the two fast runners.

Both stood up "Well you was right Swifty"

"Yeah I guess I was Leafty." Swifty repiled back then they look to Ruby and Chomper "That kind of why we came to this place... you see our home is outside the Great Valley and there a fast biter nest really near to ours"

"So it kind of dangerous to travel up the pass at night" Leafty rubbed her head a little.

"Thank you letting us stay any way. I am Swifty" Swifty smiled

"And I am his twin sister Leafty" Leafty said to Ruby and Chomper.

"My name's Ruby. And this here is Chomper . I think you've met him before he told me about you two. And it's no problem our cave is really big and I would be more then happy to have you guys here. As long as you don't overstay your welcome it's really no problem"Ruby said.

"We would have to leave in the day tomorrow to get home safely. Fast Biters we could spot easier and being the fastest out of our family we can easily out run one of those crazy fast biters" Swifty said to them

"Our pack has enough headaches with two teams of sharpteeth, one with those two fast biters and red clawed sharptooth and that fast biter pack." Leafty and Swifty kind of showed their problems at this time.

On this particular night Longtail just couldn't sleep, 'So I'll do what always do when I can't sleep....I'll fly!' and with that the flyer jumped out of the Tree of Life, spread his wings, and let the air take him around the valley......

"We really greatful, thank you alot" Leafty smiled "Just hope mother is doing alright... we know how dangerous it really is around where are nest is" Leafty said softly looking to the night sky.

Unfortunatly for Longtail, his plan to tire himself out actually worked, but this caused him to fall asleep on the wing...which was going to lead to alot of pain....as he slammed head first into a tree, then fell from the onto a nerby rock, jolting him awake.

'OWWW! I've gotta find a way to keep myself awake when I fly at night!' he screamed to himself...

Cera and Topys was now looking down at him "Longtail are you ok?" Cera said seeing him on the ground looking up at them.

"That was a harsh landing, Tria asked me to check if your ok..." Topys said making a reason why his there as well.

Cera looked up at her dad "Daddy but you said that we should go see if he was alright, Tria and Trish are already asleep" Topys grumbles as Cera said it as his made up reason back fired on him.

Longtail only managed to get out two words "I'm......fiiinnne....." he said as he laid his head forward and drifted off to sleep, subconsiously muttering the word 'finally'....

Cera look to Topys "Daddy we can't leave him sleeping in the middle of the open here right?"

Topys mutters under his breath then said "Fine" he carefully lift Longtail onto his snout and they walk back to their nest seeing Tria woken up he spoke out in four words "Don't say a word" she just shurgs and goes back to sleep as Topys place Longtail down by a tree near their nest and then walk to Tria and little Trish soon going to sleep after saying "goodnight Cera"

"Night Daddy" Cera turn to face him when saying it then look back to Longtail "He always do the strangest things" Cera rolled her eyes then settles down by the tree so Longtail wasn't alone by the tree. Tria open a eye seeing it and smile before going back to sleep herself. Cera whispers before going to sleep "Longtail better presishate(try to spell that word meaning being thankful) what daddy done for him" Cera then drifts off to sleep

Petrie who was flying back to his nest stopped and flew onto a branch as he saw the nice thing Mr. Threehorn did for Longtail. "Maybe he not as mean as me thought he was." Petrie said to himself and smiled as he flew off toward home. His mom and siblings must be starting to worry about him.

Rhett woke up and yawned. "Good morning Ali. You have a nice sleep? I wish you the best of luck with finding a new family. I'm sure you'll get one really soon . " Rhett said feeling a bit sad still about Ali's mom and her living somewhere else. Rhett was trying extra hard to prove he could be nice to. He didn't want Ali to think he was a bad guy for the rest of her life. Because he really wasn't a bad guy. He was just misunderstood he didn't know the right way to make someone like him. And now he was trying to be extra nice especially to Ali. She had been through so much all ready and he wanted to prove to Ali that he was there for her in her time of need. He had just hoped he had said the right thing and it came off as a nice thing. He didn't know what else he could say.

Shorty walked up and smiled at Rhett. Rhett was okay once you got past his mean side he was actually pretty nice.

"Good morning Ali! Good Morning Rhett"Shorty said.

"Hey Shorty"Rhett said.
