After my long absense in this, I think I've improved the longer-but-still-fairly-humorous concept.

Serris: (Addressing his army) Yet another attack... (Sigh) It's finally time to stop fighting back. It's time to set aside our weapons and settle things in a much better way. We're going to raise the white flag and then the opposing general and I are going to have a nice, little chat over a hot cup of coffee. I am going to look him directly in his eyes and thoroughly explain that I really don't like what his side is always doing to ours. I'm sure he would say the same, and at that point, I'll bring out my treaty plan.
Having completely different wants, it would be far too difficult for us to both have our way at the same time, so I'll advice we divide things evenly. Monday-Wednesday his side can rule, Thursday-Saturday we get our turn, and on Sunday, neither of us can do as we please with the other, just to be fair.
Our lives will surely be torturous on their days, but we'll be the bigger men and make their lives very comfortable when our time comes around. Who knows? Maybe they'll see our kindness and begin treating us better as well someday. Life isn't about defeating your opponents; no matter what they do, making friends with them is the true goal. My dream is that one day, using weapons against one another will be a thing of the past, never to be brought back. You are all dismissed.
Hey, don't put poison in his mug! I was actually being sincere with this.

I sincerely hope I got at least a little better at this game, so it would be nice to hear if that were the case. However, anyone is more than welcome to inform me if such a change for the better has yet to occur. Later!
