Hutner who was beginning to nod off to sleep forced her eyes open and as a reflex action reached out and slapped Jerek in the back of his head as she shouted "STOP! We're here!" Hunter looked out the window and her thoughts suddenly wondered over to Sieg and their possible future together.

'I wonder how he'll be in...' Hunter immediately stopped those thoughts as she screamed to herself... 'Now is NOT the time...maybe later...when were alone.' A sly smile came across her face as she looked over to Sieg.

Hunter said "Yeah...my friend never did like to be all flashy, but she is here! Apartment 5 floor 50, and if nothing has changed then the elevator is still busted, and the stairs are missing the banister and still have that coat of varnish that makes you slip and break your neck."

She then smiled at the thought of the first time she walked up those stairs.

Dante smirked at Jaina, and he casually replied...
"Don't worry, Ms. Anderson. I won't tell. Unless you do, that is..."

Sieg smiled at Hunter, and he thought quietly...
"She's so beautiful... and... I wonder how she...WHOA. Not going there right now... but maybe..."

Hunter smiled as she replied to Jerek's question..."Yep, but that's what makes getting to the 50th floor so much fun!" She then giggled and stepped out of the car and took a deep whiff of the air and gaged on it.

"Uhhh...air quality has died since I was here last as well...ewww. I think I smell rotten fish somewhere!"

I looked around the building as I stepped out of the car. "Oh god what's that smell." I looked over and saw a garbage can full of fish. "Oh... well that makes sense."

Jaina:

I stepped out of the car, and was instantly hit with a wave of stench. I covered my mouth and coughed several times. "Hunter, are you sure this is the right place?" I asked, wincing. My eyes were tearing up from the horrible odor.

Sieg blinked a couple of times as he stepped out of the car, gathering his wits.
"Ummm... this place seems... nice..."
He said, not wanting to appear rude...

Dante was, however, less subtle.
"Dang! What is that Smell!... This place reeks!

Hunter gaged once more on the air and said "Yes...this is the place...ugh...smells so bad though!" She then walked to the front door...and it was locked! "She never leaves this door locked...something is wrong!" Hunter then took it upon herself to go ahead and round-house kick the door in.

As the dust began to settle Hunter cautiously stepped forward into the building expecting the worst...

I listened. There was a buzzing of flies. "Okay, you're right. Something really is wrong here."

Jaina:

I looked to the side, and noticed a square of paper pinned to a wall. "Hey, Hunter, look at this. I think it might be a note."

Hunter looked over to where the pecie of paper was sitting, and she began to read it:

Dear Hunter,

If you are reading this, then please put your right paw against the red scanner on the wall...if you are anybody besides Hunter....prepare to suck so much lead that when youo hit the ground you go clang!

Love, Tex.

Hunter immediately complied and put her hand against the scanner and it hummed and beeped and then some text rolled across...

Hunter, jump...

At first she was confused and just did as she was told and jumped in place, only to crash trough the floor screaming swear words as she fell down what had to be a slide as she wasn't falling straight down.

Sieg saw Hunter start sliding down, and he quickly jumped after her, reaching for his sword. Dante followed soon after, pistols drawn and ready.

Hunter landed with a large and loud "Ohm!" as she hit the bottom of the slide and looked around, and the very first thing she noticed was the large computers taking up much of the space on the several walls in this place. She then heard a voice call out to her saying...

"Well did you enjoy the slide my old friend?" And at that moment Hunter wanted to strangle whoever that was sitting in the big leather chair at the other end of the room. But she stopped as the chair turned around to reveal a pink female stegosaur wearing a dull grey lab coat and clearly visible were several guns on her belts and around her arms.

"Quite the collection you have here....isn't it...Tex?" The stegosaur nodded and said "Right again! You never could be fooled."

Hunter then jumped out of the way of the slide as she heard others coming down the slide.

Sieg slid down next, landing delicately on his feet, hands up in a gesture of good intent.
"Apologies for intruding, M'am, but I was just..."
He was cut off by Dante sliding into him at high speed, knocking him flat...
"Ummm... Yeah, Hi."

Tex giggled at the sight of Sieg being knocked to the floor by Dante, while Hunter on the other hand sighed and walked over to the two still lying on the floor and she extended both her hands as she said "Care to move boys...unless you want to the cushion for whoever else is coming down that slide?"

I rose, brushed myself off, and looked around. "Hey... so... why are we here?" Jerek said. "Weapons? Equipment? Information? Some much-needed rest?" I smiled, and shrugged. Who knew why we were here? Well, Hunter did.

(Nice to have you back Raptor...I was beginning to miss you!)

Tex smiled at the small group and said "No doubt you've all had a run in with the cultist...and are in need of some rest." She pointed towards several doors behind her as she said "The three doors with the eye holes are your rooms, you five may bunk however you wish...but I implore you...should you partake in any...'dirty dancing' try not to disturb me or anyone else....then again those walls a two inches of solid reinforced steel and soundproofing material....so have fun!"

Hunter smiled at Tex and replied "So how have you been, and care to tell me why you moved from the 50th floor down to the basement....I was hoping to walk up those stairs again!" Tex giggled and said "Well you are welcome to try...if you want..or you and whoever in your group your dating can...uhh...have some private fun." she smirked at her last comment as Hunter looked over at Sieg with a blush and a sly grin on her face.

Dante shook his head, looking around before his eyes fixed on Jaina.
"Yeah... A little rest would be... nice..."
A voice from nearby shocked Dante out of his little daydream, as another female stepped out from one of the many shadows in the room...
"Thought you'd never get here, Dante. Took you long enough..."

Sieg was startled as well by a young struthiomimus girl standing near Tex, twirling her handguns easily about her hands.

"Hey Sieg. Glad to see you."
