Spikefoot looks around at the others. "I think this could actually work. But we need to find a way to annoy him long enough to climb up the wall again."

"And we need to do it without getting our children in any danger," Grandpa added.

Odon looks at Zila. "Since you know Chaser longer than the rest of us, do you know anything that gets that sharptooth ticked off?"

"Simple... just call him names that offtend him... like dumb ass. brain tail, long mouth, slow poke and of course me... he will get annoyed with me being there to listening and laughing at it would get him even anger by the second" Zila said to them.

"Sounds simple enough," Spikefoot replies.

"And the children can stay at a safe distance," Grandpa added.

Spikefoot nods in agreement. "I'm not getting any of my children get into pointless danger." He turns to Guan and smiles.

"Now who would be the best one to insult a sharptooth?" Odon pondered. He brightens at a thought, looking at Zila. "Didn't Tops insult that one sharptooth when we were kids? Some of the words he said really ticked it off, and we were lucky to get out of mess with our tails still attached."

"Yes, we should have Tops do the job he will really tick off Chaser" Zila started to laugh.

"Look like you have it planned out to make it easy I will ask most of the herd to hide in the tree lines so it look like most are not around so geting him almost in the lake. you have to do it when the Blue moon starts to show" the old one said "Just before darkness fully comes"

"So it will be Tops, Zila, and I that will try to lure Chaser," Odon says, turning to Spikefoot. "You will have to look after the children, just in case."

Spikefoot nods. "The rest of the Great Valley herd and I will hide with the other swimmers."

"Luckily the trees here are big enough to hide a couple of longnecks too," Grandpa responded with a chuckle.

Spikefoot looks back at the old one and bows his head. "We thank you greatly for your help and wisdom."

Odon and Guan also bow their heads to the old one.

"No need to bow... all I need is to feel old... I might look it but I am faster then you think I am." the wise one smirks jumping in the water with seconds he was able swim around and surface right behind Odon, Spikefoot and Guan and said with a normal voice as he burst out the water "behind you"

Odon and Spikefoot look around in surprise at the amazing speed of the swimmer. Guan jumps and nearly falls over next to Zila.

"We certainly don't doubt you," Spikefoot chuckled.

"Well night fall should be coming soon" the old swimmer said as the clouds started to break up and the sun light shined through. "looks like the rain is over for another day"

Odon looks up at the sky as well. "That means we should get ready for Chaser tonight."

Spikefoot nods and turns to his son. "Let's go. We need to get to your sisters and the other children to hide in the trees."

"I'm right behind you, Dad," Guan replied.

"We'll go tell the other Great Valley grown-ups the news," Grandpa added.

"And I'll go get Tops and bring him over here," finished Odon.

Spikefoot and Guan dove back into the water, following the longnecks back to shore.

Odon looks to Zila. "A little bit of this feels like old times for us," he says.

"Yes it does" Zila chuckled "Well we better get ready to make Chaser suffer for life" Zila almost laughed at the idea of seeing a mighty Sharptooth striped of his meat eating form and turned to that of a leaf eater.

"I will tell the swimmers to keep hidden for tonight till Chaser becomes a leaf eater" Old swimmer said to them

Odon nods and turns back towards Zila. "Let's go pick up Tops then." He jumps into the water and swims to shore.

While the children got back to playing after a while, Goanna looks up to see Spikefoot and Guan reach the shoreline and over to them.

Donna also stops and looks over. "They look like they're in a hurry."

Littlefoot too stops. He sees his grandparents also reaching shore to speak with the other Great Valley adults. "I wonder what's happening," he says.

Zila arrives as well on the shore with Odon goes to the children "Tops can we speak to you alone"

"Yes sure Zila, you seem to have be in a hurry as it is to see me" Tops said going over to them.

As Odon joins with Zila and Tops to talk about the plan, Spikefoot and his son reaches the other children.

"Girls, everyone," Spikefoot says, "there's something very important going on right now, and we need to rejoin and start hiding in the trees. The wise swimmer is warning all of the other swimmers as well, and the same goes for the rest of our herd."

Goanna looks over to the trio nearby. "What about Uncle Odon?"

"He, Tops, and Zila are working on a part of our anti-sharptooth plan. Our part is to hide in the trees and keep silent. Turio, I promised your father I will look after you until this ordeal is over, and I'll make the same promise to your father, Cera, after he finishes with talking over the plan."

Donna looks up at her dad. "You mean they're going to do something to that very mean sharptooth outside the Great Lake?"

"It's the Great Lake's curse," Guan answered, turning to the twin swimmers. "I'm sure you heard of it."

Odon meets with Zila and Tops to tell the threehorn the plan. "We don't have a lot of time before the bright circle falls from the sky. The wise old swimmer has just told us about a plan in dealing with that talking sharptooth. I'm sure Zila can explain the plan better than I."

Meanwhile, Grandma and Grandpa have finished explaining what's going on about the same plan to the other Great Valley dinosaurs.

"Spikefoot is talking to the children right now," Grandpa added, "and will soon rejoin us when we go hiding. Only Odon, Zila, and Tops...er Threehorn will be out in view of Chaser."

Zila explains "We going to use the Curse of this Great Lake to make a Sharptooth a leaf eater like us making him totally none fearing and stuck as a leaf eater for rest of his life." Zila said to Tops.

"Love the plan a Sharptooth not being a sharptooth" He smirked.

"This will happen when the great circle fully sets and the night circle turns blue then the curse will happen" Zila said to Tops

"Then what we waiting for lets get it in action!" Tops smirked

"Yeah the curse that turns any Sharptooth to a leaf eater like magic and it is! that why Shrapteeth hates going near this place cause they saw it happen to a sharptooth a very long time again that sharptooth became a longneck and he hated himself to the core. Gima his name was from what we heard" Jila said some and Sila said others saying the story together.

Odon tries not to smirk to Tops' reaction, more old and distant memories coming back to him. "Everyone else is being briefed and are beginning to hide behind the trees. I'm sure my brother will take care of both your children until this matter has ended."

Spikefoot himself was nearly confused with the way the twins explained the curse, but at least the other children now know. He looks by to see the longnecks guiding the other Great Valley dinosaurs over to them. "Now that your families are coming," he says, "let's go find a place to hide."

Littlefoot looks around. "Hey, does anyone know where Spike is?"

The other children turn to see Spike still hiding his head in the dirt. Guan walks over and picks him up with his tail, plucking the spiketail out of the ground. "We can find another place for you to hide," he says as he sets Spike back down on his feet. Spike nods in agreement and they join the others as their parents (and grandparents) arrive.

The Great Circle starts to fall and the three Odon, Zila and Tops got on the ledge looking down at the Sharptooth that was walking back and forwards pasteing with annoying looks in his eyes.

"Looks like it show time" Tops smirked

"Yeah I hope it works" Zila replied

"That makes the rest of us..." Odon whispered, daring not to look back at what now seems like a lake now empty of dinosaurs, who are currently hiding in the trees. His herd has never thought of a plan like this before against such a clever meat-eater, and this would be the first in a very long time that he'd something clever with his old friends.

The spikethumb draws a deep breath and waits for the bright circle to set completely.

"Hey Chaser is that your name do you chase your female kind around?" Tops shouts and then Chaser looks out with a anger look.

"What did you say!?" the sharptooh roared

"You heard me! goign to let a smart mouthed kid like me get away with it? Blut teeth!" Tops called down.

"GRahhHH!!!!!" Chaser roared and started to climb up the wall "I will kill you for that!!! I don't care of the other leaf eaters up there I want your neck!" Chaser roared.

"It worked" Zila said and they ran with Odon to the Lake Chaser gets up and then climb on top he jumps down and then lands on the ground he sees no one "What the?" Chaser said looking around

"Stop to see the view Chaser! no wonder everyone escapes!" Tops shouted and Chaser see them near the lake

"Roarrrrrr" he charges at them

The moon appears over the lake and turns blue suddenly Chaser stopped he looked up at the moon something wasn't right he felt it "What is this!?" he said scared out of his mind.

A blue arua formed around Chaser and the swimmers and everyone else came out of hidding watching Chaser the mighty Sharptooth glowed in blue that no one could see through and as the light disappeared they saw with shock and suprise a Large Longneck standing on all four the longneck looked at himself and yelled not roared in shock and fainted right there before their eyes.

Odon watches in amazement at the transformation of the sharptooth into a leaf-eater in a matter of seconds. After the new longneck faints from the shock, he looks down at Tops. "This is truly one of the few times that smart mouth of yours actually got us OUT of trouble," he says with a smirk.

Spikefoot arrives with Cera and Turio on his back, with his own children standing beside him and Littlefoot nearby with his grandparents.

Donna takes a step close. "I'm sure glad he didn't turn into a spikethumb," she says.

Goanna and Guan responded with quiet chuckles.

"So what's going to happen to him now?" Littlefoot asks.

Zila looked at him "I see no harm in that" Zila replied
