Stripetail's staff glowed as he moved quickly toward the back of the resteraunt. "Today was difficult, but nothing compared to what lies ahead. Shurlups are dangerous creatures, and we're facing a wholebunxh of trhem' He said quietly to himself as he went along.
_ Shaggy's stomach began to grumble. 'geesh, I'm starving.. " He said as he followed Nick and AStripetail. "You just ate a couple hours ago.." Nick said. "and most of the food we had in stoerage is ruined anyway. You're going to have to make do Shaggy.. We all are.."

"Let's all hurry there, and be careful, then we can all begin to rest once we are back there." Ducky said, not sure about being divided up like this.

"Me wish they would just go away." Petrie said.

"This is something we'll have to deal with when we have to deal with it, till then we can rest while we can." Ducky said to petrie to try to calm him and reassure him.

Talon, Kenji, and Underdog stopped when they reached the back doorway to the restaurant, turning to the others as they joined. They don't know where the office is inside, so they'll probably have to let Nick lead them in.

"Everyone ready?" Kenji asked around.

"Ready?" Talon replied. "I've been ready for years!"

"We left for vacation only a few days ago! You were fighting just before then."

"Really? Wow..."

Nick opened the broken door, and left it open for the others to follow. He turned at the corner and made his way to his office. His feet become heavy, as he trudged along, he was very tired, and only now was he realizing how tired he was..

Ducky & Petrie kept a look out for any signs of danger that they could see as they stood near the back door, ready to help shield and protect the others so they could easily get to the office if needed.

"Me glad when this over." Petrie said a bit nervously.

"It will be Petrie. We'll have to do our best till then." Ducky said.

"The Great Valley nor the Mysterious Beyond were never like this." Skitter said.

Kenji and Talon followed close behind Nick as he led the team in. Talon was rather quick to notice Nick's fatigued state by his walking. The raptor will be quick to cover him if something was to jump out in front of them from the darkness. Underdog followed in near the back of the pack.

Scooby stiirred on the cot as Nick and the rest reached the office. Both he and Dixie had fallen asleep within the last few minutes, Angel and Stitch were starting to nod off.
_ Stripetail went in and took stock of the situation. "Alright... we'll have to pair off in groups. Detrie, petrie and Ali will be in one group. Ali's too big to sleep on the cot, buty she can sleep next to it.. nani,Lilo Jummba and pleekly you can sleep her in the middle between the two cots. "

"Sit around? All night?" Talon seemed disappointed. "This is usually the best time to go hunting..."

"Not everyone's up to that yet. Give the others time to refresh and THEN you can go hunting."

Dixie stirred as Stripetail came over by her. "Sleeping, are we?' he said smiling slightly. 'yeah.. Both Scooby and I have been sleeping.. for a little bit at least" She said, yawning a little, showing her canines in the process. "Well, you're going to have to move next to Scooby. " But.. Nick already set up this cot. Scooby and Stitch on one side and Angel and me on this side" She protested. Stripetail gave her a look. "We have a lot more people in here now, and it would be better if we can squeeze as many people ion these cots as possible." He paused..

Ali Stretched a little as shge went over to the second cot, where friends were already choosuing the side on which they would sleep. "Goodnight , guys" She said, exhausted.

Ducky and Petrie went over to the cot, and talked it over a bit before one went to one side and the other went to the other to lay down. They lay down and soon went to sleep being tired from the events over the day and what they did.

Skitter found a nice quiet place and went to sleep also. Snoopy leaded against the wall and soon went to sleep.

Nick nodded. "Alright. that sounds Fair" he said, uyawning as he did so. "Some of you who are standing guard, make sure the door is closed before you turn in.."

Ali settled in beside the cot and soon was asleep along with he friends. Shaggy took a blanket from nani and settled next to Scooby's side of the cot. 'Good, Night Scoob. Good Night Dixie. Man, today was WEIRD" Sghhagy said, as Stripetail walked around, creating pillows out of midair for those who had to sleep on the floor. "Shaggy, you make a living going after creeps in masks and bedsheets. Weird is par for the course, for you guys..' Dixie replied. "But all that said, today was eventful, I'll agree. Hopefully tommorow you won't have to sleep on the floor... goodnight.. " she said settling back into her pillow.

The night paasse uneventfully in the office, but out ij the dining room, the Shurlups had starting bringing up mud and goop from underground. What they were doing with it, I couldn't say, possibly they were using as some sort of insulation, to make those area feel more comfortable. it then that the first female arrived on the scvene. this one was a large female, with beady eyes, sharp teeth, and pale , flabby skin. This was not good fot the group sleeping in the office, more like her would be coming in shortly...

Kenji, Talon, and Underdog stood guard at the office door throughout the night, the human and Utah raptor unerred by fatigue as they waited for anything coming their way. Underdog, however, nodded off several times before finally lolling off into a deep sleep ontop Talon's back. Faint but clear, the two could hear occasional shuffling and echoes of banging noises from where the shurlups have made their lair, and sometimes the usual audible shuffling and shifting of the others in the room while they slept...

Ducky, & Petrie continued to sleep, with some occasional dreaming. Snoopy was unable to sleep very well tell he climbed on top of a piece of furniture with a narrow top, and went to sleep on top of it, his ears clamping down to keep him in place, the same as they do when he sleeps on his doghouse. Skitter slept in a place that looked unlikely to have any large folk fall or roll onto him.

(OOC: if folks say the way Snoopy's ears clamp down is a stupid idea, to bad. I take it to be canon since I saw an interview with Charles Shultz, loooong ago on tv where someone asked how Snoopy keeps from rolling off of his doghouse as he sleeps and Charles Shultz said his ears clamp down to keep him in place, which to me is canon since the creator said so, like Gene Roddenbery saying Kirk is psi nill.)

Stripetail slept in a corner facing the doorway. His keen sense told him trouble was coming..'Tommorow the battle wil resume.." he thought.. 'This wil be our oasis.,. our refuge.."
_ Scooby Shuffled in his sleep and moved close to Dixie. he was not aware that he was doing this..but it caused stitch and Angel to be roused from their sleep. "You're squishing us Scooby. " Stitch said impatiently. Angel growled. she was being squeezed , with stitch being pushed into her on one size, and forcing her into Dixie on the other. Dixie suddenly stirred with a spasm of pain. Angels claws had raked open her side wound, and she clenched at it. "Mesa sorry" Angel said very quietly and with a think alein accent. "Sorry, Scooby pushed us into you' Stitch said. "Why don't you take my side and i'm move into the middle" Dixie grimaced. " and give us a wide berth.." She pressed her ring to her side, and tensed as the magic did its work. "So the ring can heal injuries,..' She thought to herself.. "AS fior you" She said aloud.. poking her cousin in the ribs..."Rhat!" Scooby spuutered comuing awake..'"You bumped these guys into mes.. and in turn reopened the wound that shurlup gave me" Dixie said sharply.."

Keep it down!' Ali muttered. "some of us are trying to sleep.."
_ Sorry .. Ali is it?" Dixie replied.. "Well We're just moving around alightly.. we'll be back to sleep shiortly.. so please just try to ignore us as best you can.." She continued, as the two s\aleins crawled out of the way as Dixie moved into the center of the cot. " Angel as the first to move , jumping over dixie and landing her right side. Stitch followed suit, barely clearing his partner.

Rhat rare rou roing.." Scooby said, sleep retaking it. "Moving over, so I don't get stratched again.. ' Dixie said.. taking her place in the middle of the cot.."now good night.." She said, turnning away from him and facing the other side of the room.

Kenji turned his head to the commotion, and gave a deep sigh and slight head shake as he shifted his position to lean beside the door. He pulled one of the sword scabbards from across his back and held it tight, his thumb giving a slight push against the guard and drawing the blade no more than an inch from the sheath. With the other hand, he very slowly and carefully inched the door open, where a thin sliver of an opening gave way a faint noxious breeze from the hallway into his face. His gaze pierced as hard as a human could into the veil of forbading darkness down the hall where the monsters are making their lair. Moments felt like minutes as he waited for some mutated attrosity (sp?) to spring from the pitch black at him at unnatural speed before he finally forced himself to quietly close the door, turning his attention to Talon, who gave him a quizzical and worried stare...

There was a long crash as some debris in the nearby kitchen crashed into the ground. The crash was loud enough to rouse a number from thier sleep. Stripetail stirred and got up from the corner where he had been sleeoping. We walked over to Talon to Kenji. "see anything Yet?' he said.
